I have a 770 CLASSIFIED as my main GPU (using HDMI), with a 750 SC that I had in my pc case as a phyx box/backup.  I have been trying to get a second monitor hooked up to the 750 (also via HDMI), but it won't output a signal for my 2nd monitor to recognize. If i plug the 2nd monitor into where the main monitor usually is, it works fine so it is not the cable or monitor. Nvidia control panel won't recognise the 2nd display, and I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps with microsoft.  Any tips on this wierdness?

Sounds like the 750 sc hdmi port may be faulty. Try a different output.

I removed the 770 so the 750 would be the only graphics adapter, and the display worked until after the windows 10 logo. at which point the card stopped putting out a signal.

Generally, if it quits right as Windows is loading the Nvidia driver, the GPU is bad.  However you could install the 770, remove your  current drivers, remove the 770, then put the 750 back in an see if it will get into Windows with the base MS WDDM driver.
