Pros:
-Mechwarrior
-Mercenaries
-There's shooting involved

Cons:
Horribly unbalanced
Graphics circa 2001
Lancemate options are extremely limited, can't even select your formation
Lancemate AI is non existent

*Other thoughts: Nothing like going into a raiding mission that's several levels below you, to raid a small farm... only to realize this little farm has the military of a 1st world country with a half a lance of mechs, 20 tanks, 6 choppers, and 15 turrets around the perimeter
The game needs a (removed) load of work!

Yea I bought it based on the 80% review from PCgamer.  I agree with everything you said.  I was super up for this one too as I am old enough to remember buying mechwarrior 1.
