good forum, I want to buy the plate Z3 70 classiedk, but the problem I have is that I do not know if you can update the BIOS from a pendrive since I want to put 19 9900k and the motherboard will not recognize it will be possible to access the BIOS with the micro on the motherboard and update the BIOS from the same bios with a pendrive ..

If the board cannot boot to the point that you enter the BIOS, then you will not be able to update the BIOS either with a pen drive or via Windows.

If this is the case, then you would need to setup an RMA with our Customer Service team, and they can have the board flashed for you.

Note, we will be putting up new BIOSes later today to improve stability and performance for the i9 9900K.

could access the BIOS without putting the microprocessor on the board and thus be able to update the BIOS

Unfortunately, the Z370's do not have this feature.

I just bought EVGA's z370-ftw instead of going with my normal Asus. Turns out I made a huge mistake. Doesn't look like they'll ever address the VDroop / LLC issues for their z370 boards. Feels bad, for only having discovered this basic feature is missing after buying/installing. Guess that's on me for thinking you get what you pay for.

I've mentioned this in another thread, but we are actively working on a BIOS to address Vdroop/LLC on Z370 motherboards. No ETA, however.
