Because he is using a clearly unpatched base install of SP1, which means no Bulldozer hotfix, which means SMT is not working as well as it could.
The bulldozer hotfix when it released added the equivalent of a 200Mhz overclock to cinebenches score for the first and second gen i7's when Hyperthreading was present and enabled, it could do far more for the 9900k used.
