ok did that, gta seems to run normal now. ats still having really low fps....
Glad to hear GTA V is back to normal. Any mods added to ats within the last month? If yes, remove them and retest.

ok i removed some mods, game runs better but still buffers... cars dont drive smoothly, they buffer.

Must be some mod that is causing the issue, or it could be a problem with an update that the game received.

Things were going good, but I just started up gta v today and low fps was back... I dont know why its doing this. The game isnt playable do to the laggy low fps. Could there be something wrong with graphics card?

Don't think so, unless the clock is really low in game. What clocks does the card run at when you do what I said in post #18?

I'm guessing you may have a software issue on your system that is causing the problem. Can you reinstall windows on a separate drive for testing?

My friend also used the same windows driver to download windows on to his pc and his works fine.

Yes, on another drive if you have a spare. If you don't have a spare then it's up to you if you want to nuke your current installation.

Since you seem to not want to reinstall windows you could try booting your games off another drive to see if you have a faulty hdd/ssd.

No, you need to do a clean install using the media installation tool on a usb flash drive, or installation disc.
