There was no email from evga about the KP HC, but it was on twitter and mentioned on the live stream.
I managed to refresh at just the right time and got queued for 11s, but the queue completely filled up in less than 20s. My dad never saw the notify button on his account.

Good luck. I'm an Elite member and I never even got notified that the queue went live by EVGA. Luckily had heard about it by "word of mouth"(on another site) just before it actually went live... but even then, I refreshed the page right as it supposedly went live and never got a "auto notify" button show up. Was just one big disaster.
Since EVGA screwed me over on this one, I ended up buying a PowerColor Red Devil 6900 XT Ultimate the other day. I removed my 3090's from my PC and installed that card. No ray tracing, but so far the games I have tried(RE Village & Hitman 3) play a bit smoother and actually look better(visuals are bit more crisp).
I'll still try and see if I can still somehow get a K|NGP|N HC, but if not... oh well.
why would you even do this? you had 3090's(Plural) already installed in your pc

I’m wondering the same thing. My local micro center haven’t been able to sell out their stock of 12-13 Red Devils in almost a month and I’m not even considering trying them. Though I have to say I play only in VR and that also has something to do with it.

Ye let's have them air freight the cards then charge us the $100+ per card mark up they'd probably have to pay to get them here faster... lol Sadly getting them here by boat is the best economical way to do so, and I doubt the majority of folks would want to pay the markup required to get them air-freighted en-masse with how expensive transportation in general is right now because demand > supply in almost every market right now, no just PC & computer components.

Honestly, if production is higher now then previous two generations, then evga is NOT hurting for revenue, in fact all the big companies are making money hand over fist, demand just exceeds supply to an extreme degree right now

Gamer's Nexus uploaded a recent video where one of his anonymous sources at an AIB supplier said their production was 2x (two times) what it was for previous gen, and they still can't keep up with the demand. May we live in interesting times.

Air freight is likely way cheaper right now. With international travel at such a low. There are lots of airlines with capacity and planes sitting. Many have converted normal passenger runs to air freight.

I don't know if air freight is cheaper, but GPUs aren't that heavy compared to most ocean freight items, and ocean freights are getting very expensive and very slow lately... but for airfreight it won't be $100 per card for sure, even sending cards using retail shipping can be lower than that
