June Windows 11 Insider builds thus far have suffered from a persistent high CPU usage bug tied to a specific Service.
(excerpt)
This issue was originally reported by leginmat90 on June 5, 2024 via the Microsoft Community Forums, and can be manually fixed by end users willing to disable the Microsoft Cross Device Service.

One can hope MS will fix this soon & expand their testing, at least it has only impacted the early adapters so far (insider build)

Thanks for the info. I'm not running an insider build, but always good to keep on top of this stuff.
