We are in the 21st century not EVGA !! We can buy a new iphone in europe at the same time as anywhere in the world, headquarters of Apple is also in USA it seems to me! We could also order on the evga US web site and paid ourselves, the customs fees here in Europe, no !!! Not possible either. I am EVGA ELITE Membership, what for ? useless for us ! And yes for all these reasons I stopped buying EVGA products, much to my regret If you find that right, not me !!!

Yes, you can disable every single LED , to make Dark worthy of it's name :)
Dark mode in BIOS UI disables auxilary LEDs, and multifunction 80Port display can be disabled in separate setting.

Everyone wants to compare evga to the larger companies at every release. Evga is not Asus, Apple, or any other big name company. Evga releases the product in each zone as it is available, which causes a delayed launch. Every item seems to go through California, so every launch tends to happen in the US first, and then proceeds to each region after that. Eu typically occurs two weeks, or close to it, after the US Launch. A few items have been delayed for the us launch in the past so that they could launch in EU as well, so there may be a launch very soon for EU.

Thank you. + I know that. The new Dark has a lot of interesting features but compared too other hardware EVGA did in the past, I don't know... Let's hope they do a real Classified too.
 
Edit: Compared to it's price, the plasticparts - the mirror finish, looks "cheap".

I have to agree with the on-board fans complaint. My issue with them is 2-3 years down the road, are they replaceable? If not, I would not be interested in having to replace the MB because of a dusty or squeaky fan.

Warranty.  $25 extends five years.

If your say so, it's been almost two months since X299 FTW K came out and she is not even referenced yet, here in europe !!!

I could pay max 800-850 euro. Or if Volta 250W cost 900 euro and show up some nice model I could bay few dollars more.

Yes I could get everything from USA for 7-30 days depend how much I pay except some huge PC Case or such things.
But K|NGP|N 1080Ti cost now 1200$, I expect price drop to arround 800$ when new Volta show up than I could decide where to spend money on Volta or K|NGP|N.
Off course not TITAN V, some successor of 1080Ti or K|NGP|N Hydrocopper.
My planned was to buy Poseidon first, K|NGP|N was not available then.
But I didn't had all money on time, and when I finished saving we start to hear rummors about Volta.
 
Maybe people don't understand but when you have only option once in 3 years to buy graphic
card than you don't like to spend 900 euro and next week to hear about newest models with HBM2 for same price.
Not only because you can buy newer and better model 50% min for similar price, there is option to buy same GPU as you bought in hurry for few hundreds dollars less and build watercooling for rest.
 
 
 
 
 
 

I have such sadness.  I did the order in my car on my phone (yes I pulled over) as I was worried it would sell out.  I got the $1 placeholder charge on my credit card and I was going back and forth on several other things and never realized I didn't get an order confirmation.  I checked my orders last night and didn't see the board.  And guess what? Sold Out.  I need to do my build now, so .... no X299 Dark for me.
 
I expect nor deserve any pity, just offering up a tale for you are building with these beauties.
 
I look forward to hearing great things from those lucky enough to get this board.  In the meantime I'll have to go with an Apex.

well just finish reg my x299 mb so I finally going to try 2/way sli so just ordered a few more things to go with my intel 7980 xe and my x299dark . instead of my titian (pascals) . would got a power supply but they were out.

it can happen when you are in the Order Process and if the $1 Charge Goes Through then you confirm the order.
If the $1 fails then you would be told to so and would need to use a different CC.
