Hello everyone,
I have a 2080ti Black edition Gaming that has since I got it from RMA has not functioned properly.
EVGA states they have had zero issues with my original card and are unsure the GPU is the culprit.
I have a Corsair 650M PSU
Ryzen 9 3900x
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GBs of Memory (4x8 @ 3600)
A brand new MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard
My PC boots up with 0 issues but anytime I try and play any games the whole thing bugs out. Sometimes I see artifacting and sometimes I don’t before my screens go black and then sometimes the whole PC crashes.
Event viewer notes something with Power-Kernel Event 41, system stopped responding or lost power unexpectedly. It also notes issues with the nvvdlkm process.
I tried reverting to an older game ready driver with 0 success. Last night I did a complete wipe of my entire system and a clean install of windows 10 thinking windows 11 might have been causing the issue.
I then ran Windows Memory Diagnostic to see if RAM was the issue and that found 0 issues.
I have a GOXLR Mini and StreamDeck MK. 2 and other than that I have just a webcam, mouse and keyboard.
Again, the PC will run fine as long as I do not try and play any games. Browsing the internet, transferring files, anything of the sort. Boot up a game, it crashes or the whole PC does.
I am so frustrated and have no clue what to do at this point as there is no evident culprit.
Please help.
