Is the issue my 3090 ultra or my psu?

Thanks for looking at my post. 
installed my 3090 FTW3 ultra, pc booted up fine and then locked up in 5 minutes. Had to hard shutdown. Wouldnt reboot at all. Hit power button on pc or mb and nothing would happen. No noise no lights.  Nothing.   Put 1080ti back in and everything works fine.  My psu is a seasonic platinum 1200w probably 5-6 years old. 


Do I have a dud 3090 or can my psu just not keep up?   Thank you!!

    It sounds like a card issue. If it was PSU, your PC would still power up and stay on idle.

    I agree with everyone that it is the card. Please contact EVGA. Let EVGA know if your purchase is under 30 days old.

    It’s your card but you should buy a new psu also.
