I have had difficulty finding a 100% sure answer on this.

Uppgrading SSD, and GPU ( to GTX 750ti, single fan version) on Asus essentio desktop CM6730 series (store-bought from bestbuy in 2013), Win. 7 home prem. 64-BIT

Motherboard: CM6630_CM6730_CM6830 (allthough mine says specificially on the board "P8H61-M PRO/CM6630) Intel, Sandy Bridge
Bios: American Megatrends, versions 0505, Date 7/18/11. (It is up to date.. as of a week ago)
cpu: Core I5 2310@ 2.9GHZ sandybridge, socket LGA 1155
INTEL HD GRAPHICS
8GB
*all stock parts that came with model, nothing's been changed*

Is this graphics card compatible and if not, what software steps would I take to make it compatible? If I've left out any information or anything that is unclear please let me know, I will revise it promptly, I want to purchase this card asap.

A picture of my motherboard is attached.

Welcome to the forum. No offense, but that system needs a good cleaning.   It's very difficult to predict which OEM motherboards will work with newer GPU's. Most aftermarket X58 boards work just fine with the latest 900 series while some relatively newer OEM (store bought) systems won't boot with them. If you're buying the GPU locally, you can give it a try and if it doesn't work, get a refund if that is an available option.

I am not 100% sure but I think I was running a 750ti on that same chipset. I will check when I get home and get back to you. If you are going to be running games on that you will want to go into the bios and make sure that you turn the boost clock on that CPU though. That will help the games to run a little smoother.

Sorry I was using an Acer MB that was in my Gateway. But I think you will be good, just install the latest drivers.

Asus uses boards that they sell in normal retail channels in their desktops except they use a bios without overclocking, I was able to flash the desktop model with their counterpart retail board and it enabled all the oc settings, I would bet the card would work just fine.
