Capping and lowering the performance or less power draw are not a proper solution to be suggested to people who wants the best performance out of their overpriced GPUs.

Majority of issues are with the 3090 cards, so you likely won't have any issues when playing New World. If your card does encounter any issues when playing New World, please reach out to us so we can look into troubleshooting or warranty options.

I just recently started playing New World on my 3080 FTW3.. Everything has been going just fine with it, nothing out of the ordinary. /knockonwood
That's not saying I'm a bit paranoid about something happening to my 3080 from playing NW though.. lol. Even though there are not many, if any at all (?), issues with the 3080s and New World, I have been watching the HWM tab out of the corner of my eye for anything 'weird' while playing.

If you have an LHR you should be fine.

Mine is a KR, looks like that is 3 years?

I haven’t been hearing about the cards being damaged since the patch early on in the game that reduced the frame rate while in menus.
