Even MSI did release the BIOS for Z370 boards supporting 9th gen... What's the move of EVGA?

I'm sorry, but I'm unaware of any 9th Gen processors officially announced by Intel.

I'm curious as to whether a BIOS update will be released for the 9th gen processors as well. The speculated release date is October 1st for these processors and it would be nice to know whether or not the Z370 boards will support them.

See Thread EVGA Z370 support of new Intel CPU's (9th gen) Though not really much interest.

Joey00027 normally you create a new thread / topic with a topic something like Z370 classified K RGB questions and state your questions / issues there so people that might be able to help you and see your post instead of it being buried in the end of this thread

Installed i9-9900K on the Z370ftw and it was very hot on default settings cpu reaching easily to 80 degress on two cores. With same cooling eq. and case, changed to Aorus Pro wifi resulted 9 degree lower temp, probably taking so much lower power from PSU.

I think VRM of Z370 with bios 1.10 is not effective with i9-9900K.

I'm running BIOS 1.14 on my z370 Classy K with a i7-8700k. I already have a good idea of what the CPU can do. I pulled it out of a broken (Fried the 2nd x8 socket) ASUS Mamimus X Code. I know I can hit 5.3GHz Core/5.1GHz Ring or 5.4GHz Core/4.9GHz Ring with my custom water loop.
I have tried to increase the CPU & Ring ratio in E-Leet Tuning 1.0.4 and get the following error : CPU core ratio set error. I have to set the ratio's in the BIOS before I boot into windows :(
Do I need to update to the 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 version for this to work???
I have set the Voltage to override and boot at a 1.425v for the CPU. I have the ratio set at 5.0/4.5 and have no problem benching the CPU. I tried to increase the CPU Multi to 52 and get the error. I can restart and set 52 in the BIOS (1.425v). I can bench it but can not increase either ratio while running Windows :(
Yes I know this is a Turd of a CPU :( My last i7-8700k could do the same @1.3v

Thank You

I have the BIOS set for 5.2/4.9 with the BLCK set at 101.00. E-Leet 1.0.4 will not increase the CPU or Ring Multi if the BLCK is set above default. It also will not set the Ring above a 49 multi. You can still adjust the BLCK above the default setting but the CPU & Ring Multi is then locked to the BIOS setting :(
I would upload screen shots showing this problem but not sure how???

Thank You
