I like what I am seeing, activity sensor and optic mechanical keys. Naise!

Is EVGA planning on delivering a TKL (ten key less) keyboard?
Most gamers do not have the need for the keypad, and the extra space for the mouse is nowadays needed with the huge mouse movements from left to right.
Love EVGA and will definitely test a TKL version IF (please say yes :) ) it is on the market.

Because keyboards now days don't have enough stuff that can break, now we have a utterly pointless sensor...

Bruh why is this a fullsize keyboard? You aren't going to sell many of these.

I'm tempted to try this out from my Corsair K95- the K95 has been so good for me for awhile now. Help convince me otherwise! (Not worried about TKL myself, I actually used the number pad for work purposes during the day lol)

Interesting.  I wish the Z15 had optical switches though.  I don't have room for a keyboard with macro switches which I never use anyway.

I prefer the Z15.  Can't find the manual for it.  When I try to bring it up...only has the Z10's

I downloaded the RGB unleashed software version 1.0.3, and windows security flagged two files as malware, "EV Mouse Updater_v0.05.06_20210114[AP].exe" and "EV Dongle Updater_v0.05.05_20210112[AP].exe"
I'm guessing it's a false positive however, but thought it might be worth reporting.

False positive.  I'll raise it with our software team, however.

I downloaded the Unleash RGB 1.0.3 as well.  Notes say for the Z20 and Z17 keyboards.  I think the Z17 is a typo...should be for Z15..."Hopefully"

Any Keyboard expert got a comparison for the noise level of those switches?
Especially in comparison to rubberdomes? I can't find a video for that.
I'm looking to replace my old G15, and am eyeing the Z20 with linear LK switches.
Don't want to drive my family nuts with clickageddon.

From my understanding it’s for waking the computer to get into the login screen faster without having to click the mouse or press a button to get it out of sleep mode.

I am really looking forward to this keyboard. I like the roller for volume control and the sensor will be nice I feel.

After an absolutely garbage experience with the Z10 - it's sitting on a shelf & I'm using something else because I got tired of feeling like I was using a $20 walmart keyboard - I'm glad to see that eVGA is at least apparently coming out with quality keyboard products.  Literally the worst keyboard I've ever paid more than $50 for.
Maybe if I end up not liking the Corsair K100 I have on the way, I'll wait for reviews of the Z20 & give it a try if they come out as positive, always happy to give a company a second chance in a "new" space/hardware market when they have such stellar stuff in other hardware areas.

Any reviews on the software for the keyboard? Like if it's a resource hog? Does it conflict with other software? Does it have reasonable options?

So far the reviews say stable and not bloated with a lot to like according to tech power up. Mostly the small size is because the new keyboard software only has to work with the Z15 and Z20. They did say though while good it could be made slightly better with some changes but that they really liked it.

i really want to see some more reviews as well, im worried about quality given this feels like a brand new scenario for them
