Was all excited this morning, but now I just have no idea if I'll be waiting days, weeks, or months (years = 40 series instead).

sure hope the que for the hydro copper 3080ti isn't as big.  I'm 15 minutes apart on both cards.  Copper got in first

I wonder what it's going to be like for the 3070 Ti launch. Especially for the Non-Elite folks. Ordering on June 11th, the wait will be an eternity. Or does it work some other way for Elite vs Non-Elite. Anyone care to shed some light. Sorry if I'm taking the discussion off on a slight tangent here.

Right there with you. If this launch is anything like the 3080 and 3070 ones, and considering the queue effectively started at 7:20-ish (except some lucky ones) and there were significant issues with the site even then, I think we'll see the first hour get purchase notifications within the month. I'd imagine there was also a stock of 3090 chips that didn't make the cut being held back and are being repurposed as 3080 Ti's, so there may well be hope.

A buuuunch of 100-post "elite" members aren't gonna bother to interact with the community anymore. I'm sure plenty of them got notified today as well, but they're more interested in scalping or gaming than updating others on queue progress. Many of the long time elite members are probably lurkers, too. Just going to have to watch third party tracking efforts and hope to see movement later this week.

Half the cost and even more 100-post spammers? Ha. Good luck with that. You can use extended cache and resource substitution tricks to load the product pages, but you'll still need to successfully send data to the server with valid tokens and have it processed before timing out. With double or even triple the amount of "elite" members mashing F5, effectively DDoSing the server into the ground, you're going to have to trade all of your good karma to score a decent spot in line. There will be far more scalpers hitting the site with bots and alt accounts than a week ago.

I'm at 8:44.  By the time I get a card, maybe AMD card will be competitive again.  I guess we'll have to see how well FSR fares.  (Spoiler: it won't fare well.)  

It was only by this time that I was able to access the site. I refreshed the page the moment it was 6am PT and couldn't get in until then. :(
