Hello everyone!

I know maybe It sounds stupid, but can I buy new RTX3070Ti  if I recently bought myself a rtx3060ti? What does the "Limit 1 per household" rule apply to? I'm a little confused

Well first of all the 3070ti doesn't come out for a couple of days. And also, as long as the SKU number is different you can order more than 1 card (As far as im aware- If someone knows better than me please correct me)

You know, I'd love to give my money to evga, but...
 
I work nights, so staying up a few hours later than normal for me is doable.  So I was up and ready at my computer for several hours before the scheduled time.

• At 5:50am pacific, the site started getting hammered and returned nothing but 'site at max capacity' images.
• At around 6:30am pacific, after still only receiving the site at capacity images, I had to get to sleep.

I am now running on around 6 hours of sleep, I can finally get to the product pages, but my first choice, the XC3 Ultra, just says out of stock, no sign up button available, and my second choice, the FTW3 Ultra launch bundle, doesn't have the out of stock banner, but still doesn't give me an option for signing up for the notification list.

I am lucky, I guess, that I am not in the position of needing a card to use my system, I still have a perfectly serviceable evga 1080ti in my gaming system, but after putting forth the effort to be in a position that was referenced as 'having a sort of advantage' in getting a new release, all I've got right now is frustration and disappointment in trying to give evga my money, even more that I originally was considering.

Seriously, getting 4 day passes for PAX Prime (AKA West) was easier, less work, and caused less frustration than this.

Now, off to work for me and make an attempt to get the forum to stop sending me a huge amount of email notifications.

There's just so much volume for these cards, that not even a giant manufacturer like EVGA can handle the web traffic. I also have a 1080ti which is running fine so far but i'm looking to get a new one here soon. Hopefully i get lucky one of these days.

How many HOURS did it take most people to get in queue? I couldn't get on the site for a solid hour and a half this morning while waiting on my vehicle's tire change etc.

Zotac was charging almost 1800 USD for a 3080ti, but im sure other shops like antonline will be charging upwards of 2k USD for the new cards. I hate the fact that i can't even trust shops to not upsell these cards. Sucks but that's the world we live in i guess.

Yeah I seen that, was never a Zotac fan to start with but down right don't like them now. NewEgg seemed pretty fair with the 3080ti's shuffle this morning (didn't even have to buy useless MB with them) but the Zotac one was 700 more than the base EVGA, I would prefer the EVGA any day also.

Yeah i joined the Newegg shuffle today too (no luck so far haha) but i do agree they did seem to have fair prices. And yeah lowkey i don't know why but i hate zotac, so the thought of paying that much more for a zotac card over a more reliable EVGA card just doesn't sit well with me. Oh well though i'll still take what i can get my hands on.

There was one guy selling his Newegg shuffle win on Ebay already. Doesn't even have the card just what looked like the purchase screen. Ridiculous 2550 dollars...

Is there a way to tell in you have an elite membership?

When I go to My EVGA it has elite member link in the middle. You just need to have registered a card in the past basically. Or 100 post I am not sure about that forum part.

Some guy made a queue tracker you can find it somewhere around here im sure. Im sorry i don't know what it's called but it definitely exists. Try googling it or something.

Yes. You can purchase one of each SKU.

Did the 3080ti XC3 12G-P5-3955-KR(The cheaper card) ever have a auto notify button for it? Or does that card just not get one?

Its not showing the auto notify button for the XC3 model. Also why is the FTW3 with the mouse cheaper than the one without a mouse?

Oh, I get that, and it's not even a matter of a very limited amount of stock, which was a known thing.


The thing for me is that I went out of my way to be ready for this drop, stayed up late, sacrificed sleep, 'got skunked', and the one option I would be willing to drop the money for today doesn't give me an option to buy or get on a notification list.

The team responsible for the web site and store front had to know the demand was going to be insanely high, and the people who dictate the budget could/should have allocated more resources to increase the available servers for the load.

These are lessons smaller companies like Penny Arcade have learned from, and getting passes for PAX have been overall very smooth for the past few years for the demand and dealing with scalpers and bots along the way (I've been able to get my passes for PAX for the past nine years in a row due to their excellent handling of the demand).

I'm just frustrated and disappointed in EVGA.  In my view/opinion, they have/had the rep for having their heads on their shoulders, but this experience says otherwise.

Whats the point, out of stock anyways

Because if you get in the queue they release direct here at EVGA when you are queued up, they build them everyday. People were getting cards well after the out of stock. Perhaps tomorrow a few hundred more will get released and sold to members here.
