wanted to include my time stamp as well , was going to go for the bundle with the mouse but I was thinking logically ... which for me is of major concern it never works out for some reason  and I thought all these people will be going for the bundle vs the card only... so I justified in my mind i'd sign up for the less traveled card? maybe a bad decision but it seems by the stamps here I'm closer than I am on my 3898-kr 12/16/2020 12:59:02PM... good luck to all =) and huge thanks to enewt for keeping us in the loop on everything ... he's like our Big TOE =)

You know, I'd love to give my money to evga, but... I work nights, so staying up a few hours later than normal for me is doable. So I was up and ready at my computer for several hours before the scheduled time. - At 5:50am pacific, the site started getting hammered and returned nothing but 'site at max capacity' images.
- At around 6:30am pacific, after still only receiving the site at capacity images, I had to get to sleep.
I am now running on around 6 hours of sleep, I can finally get to the product pages, but my first choice, the XC3 Ultra, just says out of stock, no sign up button available, and my second choice, the FTW3 Ultra launch bundle, doesn't have the out of stock banner, but still doesn't give me an option for signing up for the notification list. I am lucky, I guess, that I am not in the position of needing a card to use my system, I still have a perfectly serviceable evga 1080ti in my gaming system, but after putting forth the effort to be in a position that was referenced as 'having a sort of advantage' in getting a new release, all I've got right now is frustration and disappointment in trying to give evga my money, even more that I originally was considering. Seriously, getting 4 day passes for PAX Prime (AKA West) was easier, less work, and caused less frustration than this. Now, off to work for me and make an attempt to get the forum to stop sending me a huge amount of email notifications.

Me too, found out too late that EVGA at least tries to get the cards to people by doing this, although anyone buying a single EVGA GPU is practically automatically a member. You can try to reach 100 posts and that will get you to a elite member status. More details on EVGA site, just google EVGA elite membership. For some reason cannot put a link.

The FE is $599 so Probably $100 to $200 more for better cooling and speeds. Just a guess.

This card is getting roasted everywhere. The increase in price over a 3080 is not even close to being justified by the marginal performance boost. ~70% increase in MSRP over 3080 for <10% average performance boost ... Insulting.

Simple question that deserves an honest answer from EVGA. Where is the auto notify button for this card? I see the notify for the non XC3 card...but is there any reason why if the card is in or out of stock to not have the notify option?

Thinks that's eVGA auto-notifying us that those are essentially sold out for the time being...doesn't do anyone much good to wait for 6-9 months for a card either.

We had a very limited supply of this part number for today, so we limited the number of people who could queue for it. When we have more stock available for purchase, we will add the auto-notify button again.
Any idea when will we be able to queue for the card again? (Days, weeks, months) thanks.

I think a decent amount of cards were dropped today, stock might be looking to improve soon.
Unfortunately as it stands, dies are still pretty long ways away from any significant rampup, Samsung's 8nm process isn't due for a major expansion and yield rates don't improve all that quickly. Might have a shipment of last time buy of the pre-LiteHash dies across the board which could help the stack, but not in any meaningful amounts
Apparently experts are saying this whole shortage will last well into 2023.

@Kardamoon21 I'm surprised we don't already have access to it? I had assumed Elite members gained access 24 hours ahead of release date (today). But maybe... maybe elite members are allowed to begin queueing up via the notify button at the moment the product is released. That would mean, all other customers would have to wait 24 hours from that point in time before we can use the notify button to join queue?
It could use some better explanation. I've been scouring the webpage looking for the notify button to make sure I haven't missed it. Not sure if they've already obtained enough notify requests that they've removed the button, or if it hasn't been 24 hours from the elite customer access beginning.

My 1080ti has been getting graphical errors, so it's time to get a new card for me aswell. Currently the only downfall to the 3080ti is the price, but just like you, i don't think i have another option sadly.

Zotac was charging almost 1800 USD for a 3080ti, but im sure other shops like antonline will be charging upwards of 2k USD for the new cards. I hate the fact that i can't even trust shops to not upsell these cards. Sucks but that's the world we live in i guess.

I regret not getting 1080ti so much I desperately want a 3080ti now, unfortunately mining and scalpers was already an issue when I settled on a 1070 as a mid-system lifetime upgrade to bridge the gap few years ago. But yeah, doesn't really seem worth this much money and effort for the releases I'm waiting for this year. All I want is to be able to play 2160p medium-high quality on 60fps with minimal dips but I guess grabbing another used 2xxx bridge-card and try for a new gen release again in few years is my best bet.
