That's not stopping anytime soon for years at this rate now that they got a taste of it, they know they can get away with it and companies are doing ZERO against them. Expect the same mess for the next couple of gens of cards for the next couple of years...

Think i got lucky with an relatively early notify for FTW3 after 23mins on EU site - but similar problems and failed get registered for a XC3.

You did well there m8, I was ready before 2pm uk time and the site died 5 mins to, it then took me 2 1/2 hours before I succeded ;)
it was pure luck - the form didn’t actually submit and i thought it had failed but then the email came through so must have gone through somehow.
Finally got in line at 7:42 a.m. PST. On my 3rd cup of coffee now thanks to being up since 5:45 a.m. Preparing to buy this card in 2022.
I refreshed at 8:59am Eastern Time and was kicked out by the time the page came back and the constant message of the evga page is a full capacity try a few minutes
I tried from 5:55am PT until I got it. Besides the speedometer which has forever etch itself into my mind, I had the error upon filling up the form 8 times. Finally got it on the 9th form attempt.

Do we know when the 3080ti will be available in the Step Up Program?
Pretty sure it is right now. I signed up for it about an hour ago
Wait you could already select the 3080ti in the Step Up Program? Are you based in the US? And which model was it?
I don't have a 3080ti in the Step Up Program, I am in the EU.
We are aware that there's an issue with selecting 3080 Ti as an option for EU step-up. Not sure if it's been fixed at this point, but we're working on it.

So I fell victim to the XC3 Hybrid post which has photos of the Hydro Copper block. Was hoping for the HC...but considering what it took to even get this far and that I don't wanna do anything to lose my spot in line (I think I got in kinda earlyish)...I think I'll just take the Hybrid card. I might not even see it until Christmas lol.
Sorry about that. Seems like there was a cache issue with the images. Should be fixed now.

I got the FTW3 queued at 11am, 2 hours after launch. I really wanted the XC3, but apparently no queue for that. I had a queue option much earlier for the XC3, but when I tried to submit it, it timed out on me. Wow, not hopeful at this point.

Well, I could hit notify for the ftw3 (1400$) at 11:40am because (like a lot of people) between 9am and 10 am eastern EVGA’s site wasn’t working. Would have been nice to get in the queue for the other two X3 cards, but I expected all of this….at least I got elite member head start…some people were camping overnight in the rain in front of Best Buy s. Good luck to everyone!

It looks like the FTW3 Ultra draws significantly more power, runs hotter, and runs at lower clocks than the Suprim X. What's going on here?
