I get the frustration, but I don't understand why all of the venom aimed at EVGA...
I mean, there is huge demand, competition vs scalpers, bots and general shortages, not to mention massive hiccups and delays in shipping and supply lines.
None of that is EVGA's fault.
At least they're offering a queue and at least they offered first dibs to elite members, which is something no one else is doing - especially not Newegg who, besides today's clean shuffle, will probably start forcing "combo" bundling so they can unload whatever other stock they don't want to people that just want the cards.
EVGA could've spared themselves the grief and done none of this and simply do nothing like every other AIB.

Entirely possible that somehow, the button wasn't showing up for the XC3 anymore due to a bug. Initially I saw that button.... Clicked it, and timed out. When I was able to get back in, the other auto notify buttons were showing while that one wasn't appearing anymore.
Was thinking that perhaps it had something to do with the site timing out after initially clicking it.... Who knows though. :/

Looking at this from some distance you have to admit how crazy this is. Tried to open eu.evga.com and actually got the site loaded after multiple F5s due to errors and some 45 min. in the game. All but the XC3 were sold out if there were ever any other for sale in the EU today, but I couldn't get one into my basket without errors and having to reload. Now after some 2,5 hrs they are all gone, and eu.evga.com is permanently unavailable, with evga.com alive.
Everyone jumps in, bringing the companys' website down for hours as if this was this first time launch for evga. Right now you can already find them on the reseller market. This is ridiculous.

That 3070 ti might be perfect for my ITX build if the power limits are around 3070 levels. Leaked benches are claiming 90% of 3080 performance.

the xc3 model didn t have an auto notify button to begin with, it had the add to cart button, I pressed that thousands of time and nothing, got a quee for the ftw3 and hybrid one

I have a question I couldn't see the 1199 one but was able to get in the queue for the 1399 one if I get a chance to buy the 1399 one can I change it to the 1199 since I didn't get the chance to get in that queue

So was the launch edition FTW a limited thing? Overly limited imo since I was here at 5:30 pst and couldn't get one.
But what about the XC? Why can't I sign up for that one?
I believe so maybe tomorrow it'll be available for nonelites and if it does expect it'll be removed super fast as that is a limited bundle.

How is elite supposed to work? I have an ID, but never got a notification fought with the site Lal morning. I saw pictures of a link next to cards which is now gone. What was I supposed to be doing? Nothing was clear to me.

The only thing EVGA deserves ANY venom for is allowing clowns to spam their forums in order to get to 100 posts to reach "Elite" status. When I saw that I was blown away at how stupid and disgusting that was. Who at EVGA authorized something like that? The people who have been spending thousands and thousands of dollars on EVGA products should be THE ONLY ONES getting any kind of special status. I've been buying EVGA products since I built my first ever gaming PC back in 2009. An X58 mobo was the first EVGA product I bought followed by two EVGA GTX 480s to run SLI. Then one year later I decided I wanted to try out water cooling (as well as buy the new 6-core Intel i7-980X CPU) so ordered two Hydro Copper GTX 580s from EVGA. They were the only company who made GTX 580s with 3GB of VRAM. ALL other GTX 580s had just 1.5GB. Since those initial purchases I have never bought a GPU from any company other than EVGA. That is the kind of customer who should be getting first dibs on EVGA's new products...not someone who spammed 100 posts in their forum over the span of two days just to become "Elite".

no way. when they say elite members only, it should be elite members only. not just bots who can use twitch. the lowering of elite requirements is difficult to see as anything other than an opening for bots to get in to the program. begging people to buy keyboards and mice for early, relatively sane access to new products and then just opening the door for bots makes people rightfully upset

I finally got into the site at around 9:11 AM EST. The auto-notify button simply did not work, even when the site worked a few times after. That I can place on EVGA. It worked now, but after being in queue for the 3080 since 9/23 and never getting a notification this is crossing the line of absurdity.

exactly. by this system, people who can spam comments for free are the same caliber customer as people who have spent enough to buy a new vehicle on GPUs with EVGA over the years. it makes the title meaningless and our real support feel completely unappreciated
