I thought if your logged in it knows your elite so you see the special link on the product page.

Im sure of it. Like in previous launch of queue system. click on notification button and you will get email when gpu is ready to order which you will have an 8hr window to buy.

You dont activate elite. when you earn the status it follows you as your buying in the store. no need to do anything. web site knows your elite status or not by your name.

I assume it's like this:
1. Be elite
2. Go to product page
3. Refresh until 3080 TI shows up
?
