Was refreshing for the Best Buy links. Went front "Coming Soon" to "Sold Out" instantly. WTH. Did they even release any. What a joke.

How is that even possible? The next thing we need is retail stores also scalping these cards and back door selling them to the highest bidder. Such a sham!

on Best Buys store there is nothing in place to block bot buying. I got a one by using a paid service to auto buy the millisecond the gpu went live. Sucks but an enthusiast has to do what an enthusiast has to do.

Took me exactly one hour to get in but I got in the queue.

I guess its a bit late to post this since most of the elite members have already got in queue, but here is what happened to me today and hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I registered my card for elite and was lucky enough to get a 30% off coupon. I changed my email about a month later because I wanted to leave email notifications on, but the original email I signed up with gets way too much spam (still the same EVGA account, though). Today I got notified to purchase the 3070 TI FTW3 and got an error using the coupon. After some research I learned the coupon was tied to email address. Now I am actually stuck in a situation where its impossible for me to use the 30% off coupon because the card purchase link is tied to my new email, and my coupon is tied to the old email. I tried changing the email back, but then I lose the right to purchase the card, so I've lost $268 of savings.
 
I emailed EVGA support (and contacted over phone) but they told me since the code is tied to BOTH account and email, there is nothing they can do. Seems pretty silly that's its just not tied to your account as that would have made more sense, and that changing your contact email will break your coupon code. Unhappy with EVGA support over this, but I guess I'm still lucky since most of the people here can't even purchase, but it's just a warning for anyone else that runs into this situation. Going to purchase the card anyway of course

Damn, I am so pissed off. EU servers were totally crappy, I started refreshing exactly 10 sec before 3 pm (PST 6 am), it refreshed fine, auto notify shows up, but then it was completely disaster. Could not load page, when it did succeed I got "page overload" notification. After 1 damn hour I finally could sign up for auto notify. This are riddiculus times, couldn't buy rtx normally, have to compete in those silly shuffles and queues. Damn you scalpers and miners and COVID 19. Imo that was uneven fight. Goodnight.

Thank you EVGA!  Scored the 3070TI FTW card.  You guys don't know how bad I needed a graphics card.  The FTW was the only one I could pre order.  Did anyone else have an issue trying to get the $599 3070ti at launch this morning for elite members?  I work in a hospital on 12 hr shifts and my wife said, "Don't worry, I got you.  I used to do this for concert tickets."  I'm blessed :-).  What kind of performance differences should you see between the ftw edition vs the regular edition card?  I have a crappy 1660 PNY gtx which i got lucky to get off a best buy shelf a while back.  I think I was only there to get my son a switch.   Before that I was rocking to 480gtx' in sli.  Recently rebuilt my pc with a i7 9700k.

I managed to get the XC card page to load once in the first minute, but nothing happened when I clicked notiffy. eventually the page loaded an error. In the mean time, I tried reloading the page in a duplicate tab. Same with the FTW3. The Next time I got either product's page to load, the XC was sold out. Tried many times to get the FTW3 page to load.I finally got to enter my info for auto notify and submitted it... only to get an error. 

 
And Then
I got an email from evga saying I had been entered for notification.

The auto notify.  It kept crashing and the wife had to keep refreshing with a constant stream of errors. Apparently one went through and I received an email to buy it within 8 hours.  Woke up immediately when my wife told me the email came through.  

Oh, I've been on the auto notify list since the beginning for the FTW3. The XC3 auto notify never came up though. 

I got very lucky I guess.  My wife said she got error after error and randomly an email popped up saying she got in the q even though the screen said error.  She said she used the same tactic she used to use when concert tickets would go on sale that would sell out fast.  Persistence.  She was also one of the people that would always call radio stations for free tickets all the time.  The site was definitely over loaded like a radio station phone line lol.  Best way I can describe it.  Hope you get into the right lane at the right time.  I wish you luck. 
  

Yeah, I have been in the queue, so it's just a matter of hopefully getting the email to purchase one.

It really made no sense, some were able to get in while others kept timing out. I started the page load right before the clock struck 6 am and even then the site got hammered. After much reloads and errors, finally got in que at the 34 minute mark. It'll probably be 2 - 3 months before my que comes up
