i was in for both at 9:01. received notify for both
only purchased the black model. too much of a price increase for the gaming backplate model.
Congratulations! How did you get in so quick? The site was completely unresponsive for me until about 9:10.
someone posted links in another thread that went directly to the notification form for the respective models. you didnt need access to the entire site, just that form. so i didn't have to find the product pages and click the notify button, i just used the link that went directly to the form. it was a little sluggish, but it loaded fine.

I doubt that..... I was "defending" EVGA for a long time, but currently I feel very disappointed. The numbers of cards they direct to EU seem to be extremely low. In etail shops EVGA cards are in generall hard to find, the same goes for ebay. Not even scalper have them ^^ And for the queue.... for every single card the EU is far behind US. The 3080 FTW has not even passed the first hour of release day! The 3070 has not even past 29 minutes of the release day (I am on that spot, so I know that very well.)! Though 3060 seems to be a little bit better, but again we can see a huge difference between US and EU her. US reached 10 minutes, EU not even half a minute (as notify became available only after 30 seconds past starting time...)
I understand that the US are their home base, but these huge differences in treatment are very disappointing :(

So the queue is basically open since last week Thursday, 8 days ago, and we didn't even manage to move a solid 10 seconds? I'm at 9:00:43 and the queue started at 9:00:30, just wow. Maybe EVGA is dealing the European cards to scalpers? And here I am getting excited...

Maybe they don't expect us Europeans to upgrade often, or to have brand loyalty, which is why we get unequal treatment compared to America. We will have to cope I guess.

I disagree, it is very typical to have AIB cards priced $50-70 dollars above MSRP. This would make the XC $60 over MSRP. This is in line with previous cards, its on the higher end, but in line. ASUS charging you $510 for a TUF 3060, $180 over MSRP for nearly no performance difference, and maybe a slight drop in noise, now that is taking advantage of the current situation for their own profit. I am not defending EVGA, just wanted to say this (XC model) is not a large deviation from the norm for AIB pricing on cards. If we were to lay blame, that should be on nvidia themselves...MSRP should have been lower, this is really a $300 or $275 card at best
