    Yes that are also for Windows 10, that is why I posted the Link to the Read Me File.

    For gtxjackbauer A Simple answer would be that the X79 and the X99 are Server (Cxxx) and not Desktops.
    It will not allow you to install the wrong Chipset software.
    It is up to you in the end gtxjackbauer.
    I have updated all my X79 and my X99 without issues.
    I also installed this on my AW15 it to has a Cxxx chip
    You will never find any X79 or X99 Chipset Software.

    Just updating that the x99 Chipset driver is up to version: 10.1.17479.8054  BCavs link still takes you directly to it.  I highly suggest updating to the latest chipset driver.

    Hey guys this might sound silly question  but can you give me helping hand I haven't updated chipset driver in ages. I have 6950X and I'm still running original chipset that came with board: 10.1.219
    How will I benefit and should i update and is it right for my M/B

    6950x is x99, so the driver linked in the OP would be best. Everything I can see is that the chipset driver is the basis for all other drivers. I keep mine up to date so that the chipset is operating at its best capacity according to intel specifications. I am sure that leaving it alone will also allow it to work fine as motherboard manufacturers never tell you to update them after the first time.

    Make sure the turbo boost option is also installed since it is specific to 68-6900x family

    Awesome Scarlet. I feel sort of , but I'm out of the game updating my system for a while and I think I might be getting some memory loss, at time I feel liker I'm mental midget.
    Do i just run and install the exe.over the old ones or is there specific way I should go about, thanks
