Installed new 2080Ti XC Hybrid Gaming (11G-P4-2384-KR), LED won't turn on

Got my card today and installed. No problems with the installation, running the latest Nvidia driver, but the LED won't turn on.  I tried Precision X1 and it didn't fix the issue.  Any ideas what I can try? I'd like to see the logo lit up in there if it's possible.

    Welcome to the Forum
    If you have PX1 starting with the OS then exit PX1 and wait a minute and then start it back up and see if you have a LED Tab
    Power off your Computer, turn off the Power Supply wait for the LEDs on the MB to turn off and then Remove the CMOS Battery for 5 minutes and then see if the LEDs come on, on the GPU.
    Make sure you are using 2 Separate PCIe Power Cables from the Power Supply to the Graphics Card as well.
    If you have PX1 starting with the OS Turn it Off.
    Last check the RGB/Fan Cable is plugged in on the GPU, Do you see the VRM Fan Spin Up when you turn on your Computer?

    I don't have it starting with the OS.
     
    I installed PX1.  I opened the program and it detects my card. Within the program, the tabs on top read "VGA 1", "LED" and "HWM".  When I click LED, I have it set to "Static On", selected my color (red) and the brightness is on max.  The card doesn't light up.  I restarted my computer, reopened PX1, did the same process and the card doesn't light up.
     
    The VRM fan spins up when I start the computer, I just checked to be sure.  I have not removed the CMOS battery yet because I'm hoping to avoid that if possible.

    I powered down the computer, turned off the power supply and when the lights went off on the motherboard I removed the CMOS battery for 5 minutes.  I put it back in, turned the power supply back on, powered up my computer and the LED's still do not come on.

    Did you look to see if the Cable in Plugged in all the way on the GPU?
    What is the GPU showing in the Bios?  GEN3 X16 or GEN3 X8 not that this should matter.
    Being a ASUS MB is Bios Current?
    If the LED/RGB Cable on the GPU is in all the way and no broken wires then it looks like you will have to start the RMA Process.

    Sounds like the cable that powers the led logo may not be fully seated.

    I would check the LED/RGB Cable before starting an RMA Process.
    You do need to remove the Graphics Card Shroud to really look.

    You do not need to remove all the Screws on the back only the ones for the Shroud.

    What Color is the LED set to in the Software ?
     
    cause Black = Off

    I had it set to Red.  I don't even see an option for Black.  I get Red, Green or Blue on the Basic menu.
     
    I removed the shroud and the cable running to the LED seemed fine as far as I can tell.  I'm guessing at this point I'm out of luck.

    If the leds are dead you could just have evga cross ship you a replacement gpu, and just swap the shrouds. =)

    I have to say I'm disappointed to have something wrong right out of the box.  These aren't cheap...I guess I'll start the RMA process.

    Test different "Modes"  - in - Advanced tab
     
    also try adjusting brightness

    I don't have another PC to test it on.  I built this PC in January and upgraded to the 2080ti yesterday.

    Uninstall LED Sync then PX1 uninstall all NVIDIA Software and Drivers.
    Run DDU in Safe Mode and then install only the Graphics Driver and PhysX Driver.
    Do not install PX1 at this time. The Default Color is Blue.
     
    Delete the Folders in Bold
    C:\Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1
    C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA
    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\EVGA_Co.,_Ltd
     
    Under
    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local
    Delete File ledConfiguration.config
     
    Under
    C:\Windows
    Delete File PrecisionX_x64.INI
     
    Reboot and then install PX1

    When I installed the 2080ti I booted into Safe Mode and used Display Driver Uninstaller to remove everything (I chose the option to clean and shut down for installing a new GPU).  Then I restarted and installed 419.35 for the 2080ti.
     
    I never install GeForce Experience, I only install the driver.
     
    I'll remove PX1 for now.

    I followed your steps for removing all traces of Precision and reinstalling it after a restart and the LED still doesn't work.
     
    I didn't remove the display drivers because I did that properly from the start.
     
    I think the LED is just dead.

    Then an RMA is all you can do now.
    "I didn't remove the display drivers because I did that properly from the start." This was needed as part of the clean up.

    When I started LED sync it would tell me to select my device but nothing would appear.
