lostdrumrjust a heads up, i've had these cables close to one year now and many of them are fraying at the connectors. Over the last couple of weeks, every time I fired up a game my system would hard lock. Took one GPU out and it was ok for a few days until Sunday it started hard locking on a single card. I replaced everything possible ( even tried a 1000p2, 1200p2 and 850g2) in the system and the last option was trying different cables. Replaced the cables with the standard cables that came with the 850g2 and the system is now running perfectly stable even with both cards installed. Could be isolated, but I would take this into consideration before spending $90 on these cables.
lostdrumrI also noticed on some other sleeved cables there is a small rubber boot at the end of each wire, and i would like to see that added to these in the future, if possible.
rjohnson11v1ralI think this has been asked before but here it goes.I just bought an EVGA 850 G *not G2*, I am wondering if the cable kits marked as G2 etc will be a direct replacement? Thanks for your time! Please contact EVGA tech support

DewFussI've read all 98 posts to this thread. Can someone PLEASE answer the many times asked question as to the length of these cables? Are they the same length as the stock cables or hopefully longer? Beautifully sleeved cables are a waste if I still need to use extensions. I know for a fact that I'll need longer cables to reach from the top of my case to the basement compartment. Are there extensions available that will fit between the PSU and either these or the stock cables so I can use these cables to ?
Scarlet-TechI will see if I can find a tape ensure at Walmart and measure them when I get home. I have stock and these kits, so I will lay them side by side for exact measurements..To answer your question if they will reach the top of your case, it would depend on your case and the full length required to reach the top as well as pass through the port to wrap around. I can not see signatures, so I am not sure about the length you would need overall.
Scarlet-TechAlrighty, I will pictures asap. 24 pin is 25" long end to end. 8 pin cpu is 31" end to end total. 8 pin vga is 31" end to end total. Sata cables are 23" from the psu to the first sata power connector. There is 5.5" between each connector. 31" total end to end. The molex is 23.25" from psu to first connector, 5.5" between connectors, and 31" total to the end connector. The stock cables are exactly the same lengths as the individually sleeved set.
DewFussYOU ROCK! Thanks for checking Scarlet-Tech. hmmm Now to figure out what to do about extensions. Anyone have suggestions?
