I think blue lighting would be fine. If you used another color I don't think it would match up with the blue LED fans very well but that is just personal opinion

Thanks for the reply, rj. Cooler Master calls them white LED but they look like a light blue to me too. Looking at the third review from the top at NewEgg they are described as giving off a "powder blue" lighting effect and I think that would blend perfectly with the case fans. They're only eight bucks and it'll give me something to do. Nobody ever sees this thing except me anyway.

I use led strips and they light up the case really well, it makes the case really pop. This is what im using in my case right now, they are kinda pricey but man are they bright and real easy to hook up! Oh and as far as what lighting you should use, I've seen a build done with blue leds and it looked great in that case. http://www.newegg.com/Pro...x?Item=N82E16811997072

+ 1 for the LED strips. They work awesome. I would go with white LEDs

Well, my lighting kit arrived this morning via USPS. I tried to document each step with a photo. Here we go: Step #1: I mounted the switch bracket directly above my video boards and hid the wires behind the fan using a zip-tie to secure it to the back of the case: Step #2: There's not a lot of room on the left side unless I install a smaller 120 mm fan so I mounted the light at the bottom of the case hiding it behind the lip: Step #3: I mounted the right-hand light in the upper corner to try and balance the lighting effect: Step #4: I mounted the inverter using the included velcro strip to the top of the case. Step #5: I did some cable management to hide the wires better and secured them with zip-ties. Here is the finished result with the side panel off: Step #6: I installed the side panel and then admired the finished result: Sep #7: I posted my finished results here.

Some great improvements there. Is that a poster of John Wayne looking after your build (in the background)?

Why, yes! That is "The Duke" guarding my PC with his trusty Winchester and six-gun. Thanks for the BR. I never bothered documenting anything I've done before because I can't compete with the craftsmanship that your members put into their builds. The things you guys here at EVGA do with your builds is amazing to me.

Thank you for the kind words. My first build was a mess inside using a EVGA E-173 750i SLI mobo and CM Scout case. I just wanted to make it work and never bothered with things like cable management. My second build in a CM Sniper case wasn't much better. It wasn't until I started looking at some of the 'artwork' being produced by the members here at EVGA that I realized what a good build was capable of looking like. These guys are totally awesome with their attention to detail. Everything looks so professonal and perfect when they're finished. I wish I had more room to work but it's cramped in an 'Efficiency' apartment. I have to do all of my work on the floor and I am just not as agile as I was when I was a teenager. This is definitely my best attempt but I don't think I'll be getting too many +1 votes. LOL

I've never tried anything fancy or custom before. I was just disappointed that my PC was dark inside and I wanted it to be seen. These worked out just perfect and only cost me $7.99 for a real good result.

I have a lighting question, and would rather not open a new thread. Anyone know of a good UV light? I am going to be using it to detect leaks only. It can be a flash light, bar light or even led straps. I will be using Primochill clear/Uv blue dye as I will be making my loop as hard to notice as possible. P. S. Nice build.
