Hi guys! I need help. I have a EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2 and a GeForce GTX 1080ti FE. I'm confused plugging in the pci-e or vga cable to my power supply and graphics card, because my gtx 1080ti FE has a 6 pin and 8 pin to power it. EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2 has a (6+2 pin to 6+2 pin cable) and (8 pin to 8 pin cable). I already plugged in the 8 pin to 8 pin cable. Now i'm confused to whether i'll plugged in 8 pin to the psu then 6 pin on the graphics card, or just 6 pin on the psu and 6 pin on the graphics card.

The 850w P2 comes with two 6-pin + 8(6+2)-pin cables. You only need to use one of the two provided cables to power a reference 1080 ti.

Yes, but what should i plug into the psu for the 6 pin in the graphics card? Should i only plug in 6 pin in the psu also even though it has 8 pin? Because the graphics card is also 6 pin. Or should i plug in 8 pin as well then use 6+2 pin to the graphics card and leave the 2 pin hanging? I already plugged in the one 8 pin to the VGA1. Thanks for the response Sajin!

You should only be using one cable that plugs into VGA1 on the psu. That one cable should have a 6-pin + 8-pin(6+2) at the end of it that will power the graphics card. The other end of the cable should plug directly into the psu with a solid 8-pin that isn't a 6+2.

if you want to use two separate cables then plug the 8 to 8 in like you did into gpu 1, the second cable plug the 8 pin side to the psu and plug the 6 pin to the gpu. the two extra on the end will go unused and wont hurt any thing.
