I have a i7 930 Bloomfield and 6GB DDR3 2x2gb 1600 RAM.

Currently the CPU is fast and it works fine, but what I want to do is run the ram to its full potential. Currently on the Mobo it is running at 1066, i want to make it run at 1600, as for the CPU it is running at 2.8, I would like to run it at 3.2 or so...

Can anyone tell me the fastest and easiest ways of doing these two things? So I can get something out of the computer.
I'm running GTX 480's in SLI and they work fine, if anyone is wondering.

I have the newest EVGA E-Leet utility, so how can I use BIOS and Eleet to overclock these two things.
Thanks!

EDIT: I got EVGA X58 SLI LE 141-BL-E757-TR

Set your clock to 160, your DimV to 1.65, your timeing to that writen on your memory, your mem multaplier to 2:10, Diasable Turbo, Unicore freq to 20X, Vtt to +150, Everything else to auto, and you should be at 21x160=3.3 with 1600 memory. You may have to play with CpuV and Vtt, if you get BSOD's, but I suspect you will be fine at 160.

Your better off using the guides, as that way you actualy learn something, and understand what you are doing and why, but for a low OC, that should work. My favorite guide is How to Overclock the I7 (Ported)

Awesome I did what you said and so far it is running stable at 3.2ghz with 1600 Memory clock.

With the 930 you should be able to set the multaplier to 21, insted of 20, the 920 is locked to 20, If you have the 920 at 20, you will need to enable Turbo mode ( NOT TURBO PERFORMANCE ) for 21*160, ( 3.3) for a 930 if you enable Turbo mode you get a 22*160 or 3.5, but without turbo, it's 3.3.

For 3.2Ghz on that CPU your best bet is to just enable Dummy OC in your BIOS and that will bump you right up to there without you doing much work at all. From there it will change your BCLK to 160 and you can then go into the Memory Feature Section. Set the Profile to Standard and the ratio to 2:10 because that is 10 x 160BCLk = 1600mhz. Then set your timings to manufacturer spec for the 1600mhz speed. Also Change your Uncore to 20x to be double your RAM Ratio. You may need to go in the Voltage control and up the CPU VTT just a little bit to help the IMC on the CPU and for that I would set +150mV. Make sure in the CPU Feature you have CxE disabled and SpeedStep Disabled. Also have all the QPI Link and QPI Control settings both Enabled and set the QPI Frequency Selection to 4.8Gt/s.

This should get everything stable when using the Dummy OC. To check if your RAM is running at the correct speed after all that go into CPU-Z or ELEET and check the memory Section and if the frequency is near 800mhz you are in fact running at the 1600mhz you want because memory is Double Data Rate so its 800mhz x 2 = 1600mhz

i am not a big fan of Dumy OC, or XMP memory profiles, ( much perfear manual settings, ) true both these features work, most of the time,  but you learn nothing. and they tend to over volt. For the most part I have fount that 160 clocks will work with everything in Auto, except for what is necessary for the memory OC, and at 160, Ocing the memory to 1600 is as simple as setting 2:10, 1.65 DimV, a 20X unacore freq, Timeings to Manf spec, and possable a little Vtt bump. ( also setting it manualy makes it a lot easier, down the road, when/if, you decide you want more. as this is usualy where I stary my OC climb, ( after droping mem multaplier from 2:10, to 2:8, ) which verifies it will be stable at 1600, from there I go up in 5 clock increments to 180 clocks, and 2 clock increments to 200. Checking temps and stability inbetween bumps. and adding CpuV for BSD 101's and Vtt, for BSOD 124's, It's all in How to Overclock the I7 (Ported)

You better have patience. I was overclocking for a whole week, between 3-8 hours a day, before I reached my desired stable OC, i7 930 @ 4.2GHz.

The process is really tedious and repetitive but worth it!
