 Hey y' all,

I have a 3080 Ultra FTW3 and the LED lighting and effects change back to default after every reboot. I can change them in the PX1 to the colors and settings I want but the apply button never lights up so I can't "apply", I have tried making a profile and hitting the "save" button but they still go back to the stock default after every reboot.

 I'm using PX1 version 1.1.7

Can someone walk me though it?

thanks

Mine randomly changes when I am gaming. I have it set to temperature mode and it'll decide to switch to rainbow.

I have to exit X1 completely and restart it.

Then, next gaming session, it switches back.

Annoying as heck, but I am just glad I have a card that hasn't exploded yet.

I don't know the answer.  This is an outcome of EVGA's software that we have unfortunately come to expect.

    ASRock Z77 • Intel Core i7 3770K • EVGA GTX 1080 • Samsung 850 Pro • Seasonic PRIME 600W Titanium
    My EVGA Score: 1546 • Zero Associates Points • I don't shill

    Set up your RGB,
    Safe to Profile,
    Click load profile,
    Close PX1,
    Restart PX1,
    Load profile,
    Close PX1,
    Restart Windows.

Oh man, that's crazy.  Seem as if this should be one of the most fool proof parts of the card, the lights. lol

So basically I should not run PX1 at boot any more? OR at least until it's properly updated?

I'll give it a shot!! thanks y 'all

    Ok well, Lord Winchester

that worked!! I am good to go, and I can even run PX1 at boot while keeping my RGB settings.

+1 For this. Thank you! Kept the lights set to "Temperature" instead of rainbow on my 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra

I'm not sure whether to be happy someone found a fix or cry that it takes that much effort to get lights to stay on...

EVGATech_LeeM posted a PX1 beta that so far seems to have fixed the issue here.
