Doing some troubleshooting.
I turned on Debug mode via nvidia control panel.
Now the option is greyed out and I can't disable debug mode.
How do I turn it off? When I enabled debug mode, it didn't change my clock speeds. I'm running it on max performance and its running at about 1721mhz & 5000mhz, boost clocks it to about 1950mhz & 5000mhz.

CPU: i7 6700k

PSU: EVGA 750W G2
Storage: 250GB Samsung SSD, 1TB Seagate HDD 240GB Mushkin SSD
Cooling: 4x 120mm Noctua NF-S12A, 1x 140mm Corsair, Corsair H55 water cooler w/ 2x Corsair 120mm fans.
Case: Corsair 400C (Clear/ White)
Display: ASUS PG279Q (1440P 165hz IPS Gsync)

Sound: Sennheiser HD558 w/ Behringer HA400 Amp.

I was joking with you on the payment.
That is a NVIDIA issue that needs fixing for all of us.

If you can turn it On and Off Then I would say yes.
What Driver Version you are running now?, are you still on 378.66?

Best to ask this maybe on NVIDIA's Support Forum.

My understanding no it was not working under Driver 378.66
You may or may not go through this with Each Driver Version that is Released by NVIDIA.

There is a new WHQL driver out. Have you considered using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and installing the latest set? If you have a factory overclocked GPU, the debug toggle option should be available and should work. It is supposed to be grayed out for factory or vanilla stock clocked GPUs.

The glitch was a default to "on" and no way to turn off. I second the DDU and update suggestion.

Debug mode isn't enabled when it's grayed out like this...

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that was the exact problem in the driver. It was checked and grayed out and enabled. This caused the GPU to only boost to vanilla clocks.
Also, debug mode should only be available to card with factory overclocks. If your card model has reference clock speeds there will be no debug mode available.

Grayed out & checked = debug mode not available, and not enabled. This option should only occur on reference cards.

Not grayed out & not checked = debug mode available, but not enabled. This option should only occur on factory overclocked cards.

Not grayed out & checked = debug mode enabled.

Gotcha gotcha alright. I'll probably DDU sometime and try a different driver version. (I've got another thread on this) but when I DDU drivers... messes some stuff up in games, causes increases in CPU usage, stuttering, not fun. I would've tried a different driver version but, doing so usually means a OS reinstall until I figure out the root cause.

For me it's defaulting at Not greyed out and not checked. When I click on it, it turns into Greyed out and checked. So... Its probably not enabling since I'm not seeing any clock speed changes.

I've got a 1080 FTW, so factory overclocked.
