Hello everyone!

So, i downloaded evga e-leet and it says that my memory is running dual channels.
I have 3x 2gb of corsair memory

http://www.newegg.com/Pro..._-20-145-220-_-Product

i have no idea why it's not running in triple channel. I have it all installed in the green slots. and the e-leet shows all 6gb's. I tried installing it all on the black slots but it will not boot.

my motherboard is the 132-BL-e758 with a i7 920 D0.

What does it tell you in your bios? Or even when the machine is posting?

1st Remove all modules and test each one individually in slot one.
If the all work clean the dust bunnies in all dim slots and reinstall.
Make sure when inserting you hear the click both sides.

2nd make sure your memory is in the right slot for triple channel that would be slots 1, 3, and 5 see below.

yeah i have all 3 ram sticks in the green slots, 1, 3 and 5.

and the E-leet says 6gb's right? so i would assume that all 3 sticks are working.

for the Bios, where do i go? memory features?
    I have it set to 1333mhz, 9-9-9-74-24-1t

    if i remember correctly.

Just so you guys know ( & have forgotten ? )  the memory is dual-channel = DDR
It sounds fine to me,... all DDR memory runs "dual-channel"
When you put 6 sticks in, it isn't going to say sexa-channel , just like it is NOT going to say triple-channel....Doesn't matter how many sticks are in, it will always say dual-channel in the spot you are referring to.

My bad, in my haste I did not fully read what you were referring to NOR did I even look at your attached pic...
I was thinking of Bios boot up post...

YES, everyone is right  CPUZ (reskin E-LEET)  will say dual or triple in the area you were referring to in your picture.  Mine also says triple !

DDR = Dual data rate, that has nothing to do with the memory channels.
Triple channel referes to the access mode from the system not the data rate internally of the chip.

I'm not sure what you aren't getting triple channel out of it though.  Mine is running in triple channel and I just have 3 sticks.

    Try CPU-Z?

I know eleet is based off of it, but just give it a run for giggles. Might just be eleet reporting improperly?

My 767 board shows Triple just fine :\

Are you OCd (CPU)? This is one of the things you now have to watch as you OC. The i7 mem controller is weak.

Also, DO NOT use XMP memory profile. Enter your latencies manually, mem spd "standard," MCH strap either "auto" or "DRAM ratio," and enter your RAM V spec manually. If you did not OC your CPU, i.e. your Bclock (freq) is stock 133, then set mem freq to 2:10; if you OCd your CPU then it must be 2:8 or even lower if you are above 166.

We may require your BIOS template to help more:

Bios Template for X-58 and Classified by iride4u

When filling this out, if you have set "auto" then say so, don't just tell us what the BIOS has chosen. Even better, tell us both like this:
    "tRFC Setting ( auto / 74 )"

no luck.... i'm stuck..... why the heck wont it boot like usual??? i redid the bios to how it was in the original settings! all it was is just changing it from IDE to RAID right??

crtrl+i shows that it sees the raid 0 configuration. WHY WONT IT BOOT UP PROPERLY!!!!!!!

All i get is to the windows logo screen and the colors freeze and then blue screen for a second and reboots.

Mine says triple as well. Something is wrong with the board or the CPU. Probably the CPU since it has the memory controller in it. First I will try changing the cpu. But before that. Reset the bios to defaults or remove the battery.

    Set HPET to 64 bit
You cannot load a previously saved BIOS profile after flashing BIOS. If you did that, you need to reset CMOS and start the BIOS settings from scratch.
Regardless you must set all BIOS settings just like you just installed a new mobo.
Do you have a sound card installed? If so, did you disable onboard sound? You have a Windows driver loading that is conflicting with something, and it is due to a BIOS setting.

I had something similar to this happen to me:
I was RMAing my EVGA mobo and had Win7-64 installed on my Kingston V-series SSD. So I kept it for the replacement board (exact same model). In the meantime I used an Asus Rampage II extreme mobo, and used a Velociraptor boot drive with it. But when my EVGA RMA board came, and I tried to boot on the Kingston, it did just like yours is doing (not in RAID, but did have RAID 10 data - WD blacks). The RAID did not matter whether or not they were connected. By that time I had found out that drive did not support TRIM, so I bricked it. I just ran Windows7 on the velociraptor instead (it worked without re-install, just had to change a few drivers).

I don't know how that could help you, just tellin' my experience.

Hey, come to think of it, are you just running RAID 0 or is there another drive? If so try setting the opposite as boot priority!

On the start menu, type "msconfig" in "Search", then go to the boot tab. In there you will see more than one line, select the one that don't say:
    "Windows 7 (C:\Windows) : Current OS"
and press "Delete" button and close msconfig. That will fix that.

If your computer is a multiboot configuration, you can still change which Windows operating system opens by default, and how long to display the list of operating systems, by using System in Control Panel.
In the left pane, click Advanced system settings.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
Under System startup, choose a default operating system and the amount of time to display the list of operating systems, click OK, and then click OK again.

Then other than 2t your mem settings are good as far as I can tell. But if you can get it to run 1t stable more power to 'ya. Your DIMM V setting is fine.

That's odd, you say your CPU Vcore is auto, and BIOS is selecting 1.26875? Mine set much lower on auto. Not an issue though.

There are some other things you can do to improve performance:

Memory Low Gap ( 1 ) there is no reason to set this higher with your single vid card

Maximum Payload Size ( 4096 ) will speed up memory transfers to PCIe a little bit

    And:
    CxE Function ( C5 )
will get you more power savings in sleep mode
