Hello, I want to put the graph vertically. I have looked at various risers but I have read that some could give compatibility problems.

I have looked at the model of cosair:

    That PSU with a 3090 is asking for trouble.  Just putting that out there.
     
    Unless you're running it with a very lower power draw CPU (which would make zero sense because a 3090 needs all the CPU you can give it, see Hardware Unboxed's video on CPU scaling with Ryzen 5s on the 3090 they put out recently) - I would not risk that.
     
    I don't think there's an SFX power supply that is actually completely "safe" for the 3090.  That Silverstone is decent, but I wouldn't do it personally.

    I'd be concerned that you're apparently considering building a SFF system, with a 3090 stuffed in it?
    You might get some better replies if you gave us more information on what you're trying to accomplish.

    That is my cabinet. You can fit a 3090 perfectly, it is Atx but the source is sfx.

    Not enough. Even 850 is pushing it. I was hitting overcurrent protection with an 850. 1000+ is recommended. With an overclock and especially if you are running an intel CPU 1200+

    I have not overlocked. The processor is a ryzen. There are users moving it with a 650w power supply

    I'm pretty sure the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid runs at like 400W out of the box. My 3080 FTW Hybrid is like 380W and I use a 1300w PSU.

    I'm pretty sure the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid runs at like 400W out of the box. My 3080 FTW Hybrid is like 380W and I use a 1300w PSU.


    The transient spikes are well over 500 watts. Happens in heavily ray traced games. With my 850 it would hit OCP within 1 minute of playing ray traced minecraft. In WOW sometimes it would last an hour before hitting OCP.

    My 3090 with stock bios spikes 460 watt. 
    With the XOC BIOS I have logged a handful of 520w Spikes (with an average of 470w) You really don't want to cheap out on PSU

    I would not do an SFX build with a 3090, that's personal preference, there aren't any PSUs in that form factor that are FOR SURE going to be able to handle the 3090's spikes I don't think.  Good luck to the OP if he chooses to proceed anyway, RIP 3090 we hardly knew ye.

    This guy is going to be way undergunned with the SFF psu.  That Lian Li case is not intended for a 500W gpu.  I've had my 3080 spike to 485w and average 445w.

    Yes.  We all recommend a very high quality and well reviewed 1000w Gold PSU or better to run the 3090 FTW3 Ultra, air cooler or hybrid.
     
    Just get a standard O11 case, skip the mini version.  You can even run bottom intake and dual exhausting radiators, which will please Debadger.

    Yes.  We all recommend a very high quality and well reviewed 1000w Gold PSU or better to run the 3090 FTW3 Ultra, air cooler or hybrid.

    Yes.  We all recommend a very high quality and well reviewed 1000w Gold PSU or better to run the 3090 FTW3 Ultra, air cooler or hybrid.

    Just get a standard O11 case, skip the mini version.  You can even run bottom intake and dual exhausting radiators, which will please Debadger.

    Not enough. Even 850 is pushing it. I was hitting overcurrent protection with an 850. 1000+ is recommended. With an overclock and especially if you are running an intel CPU 1200+

    I would not do an SFX build with a 3090, that's personal preference, there aren't any PSUs in that form factor that are FOR SURE going to be able to handle the 3090's spikes I don't think.  Good luck to the OP if he chooses to proceed anyway, RIP 3090 we hardly knew ye.

    DON'T GET THE O-11 MINI!!
     
    Tried that myself, you can get a Silverstone 1000w Platinum SFX-L power supply, it runs my 3090 XC3/5900x system fine, but the mini is a oven unless you run your case fans at 100% or a fully water cooling.

    I now have everything in a standard O-11 Dynamic, way better, I reused the 1000w SFX-L PSU using a ATX bracket, this has been running a Inn30 RTX 3090, now the 3090 XC3 Hybrid for a little over 2 weeks with no issues.
    Power draw barely hits 750w from the wall, the Silverstone is a little loud as it doesn't have zero fan, so it will be replaced at some point closer to winter, the AC drowns out the noise currently...

    No, I think I will get a Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic. But I have a question, in the mini model, did you put the 3090 hybrid vertically? I have ordered the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic model, unfortunately there is no stock at the moment.

    You will need to install the hybrid vertically. If you install card horizontally, the tubes will be touching the side glass. Take a look at the picture below. The case is the Lian Li O11D Air, but it has the same dimensions.
