Ok so does this folding client do more when gpu and cpu are overclocked or does overclocking not matter?  Right now i have everything basically on defaults.

Barely more. Not worth the extra power burnt just to overclock.

Also, unless you got one of them crazy core counts, I would just use the GPU to fold so you can still use the rig for browsing, videos, etc. and even for some not so demanding game titles.

Maybe a CPU job? If your Kingpin is going to take 2.5 days, most of us would have timed out.

If it's a work unit running for the first time on your rig then it will predict lengthy times to finish until it gets a few percentage done.
Also you will need to complete 10 wu's to "prime your passkey" before the quick return bonus kicks in. During this process you should run the CPU at 75% or so to help get there faster.

Actually i had 3 cpu slots going at 18 cores each and a slot for each kingpin,  one kingpin is running the 33,000 point WU and the other kingpin is was working on like a 30,000 point WU which is  done.   Have the folding power set at Full. As far as 10 WU it has completed 18 in the first 2 days already so that mark was met on the first day. So in this photo does the points earned include the WU that is in process or will the points of the current WU in process be added to the total points after its finished? If so that would be like 97,000 points earned in 2 days. Would this be a high number, average or what ? Also if a WU is in progress on say one of the gpu's can you change it to be using the cpu instead?

I think it's just getting warmed up for you.  Give it a few more days and wait and see.  Maybe you should pause and reboot the system if you haven't already since installing F@H.

Also, you could views this in advanced setting.  Right click on the Folding icon on your taskbar and checkout the advanced tab so you don't want to use the browser.  Advanced tab gives you more info and control.

I had this same issue when I came back from folding from like a 10 year hiatus. I had to make a passkey, fold a bunch of WU to get real points... all the while this whole FaH boom was causing all kinds of download errors and such, getting like 10k per unit. All of a sudden it started work and give me points, much farther than the supposed 10 WUs. I hope yours starts kicking soon because you should be racking up the WUs and points with that setup.

So does the cpu or gpu work better for this, or does it not really matter. I've noticed the larger WU get assigned to my gpu's and the smaller WU to my cpu. Does adding more slots to the cpu make for better folding or just take longer for each WU because of several slots? Kind of interesting. I also noticed the points for a WU seems to fluctuate, might be like 3000 to start with but then later be at 2100.

It gives you an estimation for points. You can sit and watch it fluctuate as your cpu or gpu ramps up and down a bit. PPD estimates are way off lately with all the new clients, lack of WUs, server problems, etc.

CPU is not great PPD/watt, but if you are looking to do WUs and can afford the bill, by all means do it up.

Seemingly off-topic a little but I noticed that EVGA folding team doesn't have a normal distribution like the more famous social media/ influencer ones.

QRB does work for CPU now. CPU units stew just different than GPU units. Some cpu work is very long and can take half a day. The more cores on a slot the better, but apparently you must avoid prime numbers.

Not sure what the bonus is your talking about.  In my logs its showing WU are being completed and acknowledged in the responses. When i click the link for my username you provided its showing total WU and points and stuff. Am i missing something i'm just not seeing ?

Hmmm.. 38 WUs. You should be cranking out points. Are you sure your passkey is correct? Then again, even without a proper passkey, something is off...

Well like i said earlier, the WU's its assigning to my gpu's are a lot larger and seem to take a long time compared to what it assigns to my CPU. Right now its working on 2 with the gpu's that are right around  40,000 points each. Everything in this screenshot seems to be normal though as far as i can tell.
