What are you doing at EVGA ???
 
I got availability e-mail for 980Ti Kingpin 72+, directly went to link in email and THERE WAS NO STOCK.
 
What, did you get like one card in stock or what !!!!
 
This notify system is ridiculous and unreliable. E-mail are not delivered instantly, for some user it may take time to get your e-mail.
 
Getting really tiered of this, WHY CAN I NOT JUST PRE-ORDER AND PAY and get my order when it gets available.
 
It is simple, customer pay in advance when pre-ordering and are put in a queue and delivered when your turn is up then all would be fair.
 
Lets get some real customer service PLEASE, PRE-ORDER and PREPAY with a queue system a.s.a.p. 
 
 

You have to run refresher programs and order the second they appear "add to cart" or they will be gone. By the time the email goes out, they are long gone.
 
So literally you have to camp your computer and watch the refresher for weeks on end. Worth it? Nope.. I'd move on or wait 6 months for stock.

I can understand the high demand for this card since it is new and all.
 
But what i cannot understand is EVGAs way of doing business and really complicate it for their most valuable customers, the people that buy very expensive high end products.
 
There is only one way to be fair and it is to let people pre-order with payment upfront for a garanteed delivery in order that every body made their purchase.
 
I do not see what the problem would be except for satisfied and happy customers that would return to buy more in the future.
 
I am really baffled that EVGA do not see the advantage of customer care in the purchasing phase, to give your customers an easy and satisfying way of buying your products must be a priority or else you are loosing serious money and future customers.

I to am very frustrated as I have been attempting to purchase 3 Titan X waterblocks for over 2 months now and have missed at least 2 "drop shipments" due to EVGA's poor email alert system, however a lot of business will not accept prepayment for very logical financial and legal reasons.

• If you were to prepay for an item from EVGA and you get it after 30 days your window of return would expire before you even physically received the product. Legally 15-30 days is all a company is required to give you.
• All credit card companies will resolve any disputes within that time period, usually never afterwards. 
• If the product cant be produced any longer after you have prepaid then there is the matter of massive refunds, which place a company under financial constraints. Billing systems usually register payment as just that payment and not prepayment. As soon as companies receive payments the money is spent on future cost of goods, labor, etc. Damage product that a customers sends in to a company is covered by the vendor (nVIDIA) or insurance.
• EVGA's step-up program is time sensitive and prepayment would throw a big monkey wrench in that process. Yes they could keep track of product time but why would they.

Those are just a few reason and I didn't meant to subvert your post as I agree, EVGA NEEDS A BETTER SYSTEM. I have purchased only EVGA cards since the 8800GTX, always run SLi or Tri-SLi and upgrade every year, without fail. Thats a lot of cards and a boat load of dollars devoted to a company and if your on this forum then many of you can probably say the same thing. The 3 Titan X that I recently purchased were from nVIDIA direct as EVGA was limiting both the Titan X and the Titan X hydrocopper and that's when they even had them in stock (both of which I received emails after they were all sold out). My point is that after 10 years I have started to purchase cards from other vendors and If I miss another shipment of waterblocks due to their faulty emailing system then the same will happen for that item. Business don't respond to complaints, they respond to lost dollars.
 
I know that the Kingpin is an awesome card, I had 3 hydrocopper versions of it but ASUS, MSI and others have better cards...as a card that you can actually buy is better than you have to wait for an email for.

BestBuy charges you ahead of time for preorders.

That is one hot selling item and no doubt plenty of people received the email and ordered the item so stock was depleted fast. There are some fast finger typing forum members out there.

yes  mail received and 1minute after not in stock  in EU shop... is very fast and  very low part....
