Ghost Stories -Good for comedy
Hell Girl
High School of the Dead - 2nd season is supposed to come out this year
Angel Beats
Witchblade
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Gunslinger Girl
Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (When they cry) -really messed up and confusing, but awesome show
 
 
Most of them aren't very techy but they have great stories.

Check out Big O if you can. That is a great detective/mecha anime.

The Forum Scared Away most of the Anime Watchers.
I found Netflix Original Anime are great to watch, I only wish they would sale them on BR or DVD.

Yea I really like Seven Deadly Sins for one of the Netflix Original shows. I just finished watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for a second time to get ready for the new season next month.

Not really an anime but miraculous ladybug and cat noir is fun.
On the anime side I just finished the Netflix original movie part one Godzilla and the series Violet Evergarden.
Also good series on Netflix are Gunslinger Girl, Sword Art Online, Robotech, and Your Lie in April. (That last one will rip your heart out if you stick with it)

haven't heard anyone mention it but on netflix, Knights of Sidonia has mechs and has several seasons.
