moosejaw I pre-ordered 2 sc's from Amazon a few days ago, so I'll just wait out the month or so it might take to fulfill the order. I also read that guys review about high heat (idle/load) and thought something was amiss with his thermal solution. My 2 980's idle under 30c and sometimes in the low 20's, without the fans on. Using a Lian Li D600 case for that one in the basement. I have another system in my 2nd floor bedroom (single 980 sc) that can get a little warmer ambient temps. That one never reaches 30c when idling. Environment matters when it comes to keeping things cool.
I was thinking the same thing. My 980s are much cooler and the reviews I have seen (Anand, etc.) have the idle temps of the titan X about the same as the 980. Something's up with his case I guess. ??

I'm trying to get info on this but demand is certainly exceeding supply right now.

That probably depends on how much time you are willing to spend checking on availability online during your time in the U.S. Right now the cards are still being snatched up as soon as one becomes available and as others have stated they are back-ordered on sites like Amazon that allow pre-ordering.

In the USA I do not know when new stock will become available but EVGA Europe is hoping for new stock towards the middle of this month

Anyone else get an auto-notify from newegg yesterday for the SC version? I did but still was pre-release and not available to buy so can only assume it was a mistake or maybe more likely others gobbled up the few available immediately.

I did too, newegg is pretty mean with the April fools. Talked to them 3 times [2 chat, 1 twitter] with a 4th time over the phone. They were pretty confused why that got sent out. I'm still wondering why. I've been watching the page like a hawk to pickup one before a LAN party on the 11th.

I was F5'ing 2 days before the announcement. I grabbed 2 within the 1st 5 seconds of availability. You have to be quick. There has never been a new GPU launch where I have not gotten what I wanted. Put the Newegg page on your phone (not the mobile site). If you go to the bathroom at work keep hitting F5 from your phone. Setup a page refresh app in Chrome with a chime to let you know when the page changes. If you wake up in the middle of the night F5. First thing in the morning F5. 11:30 pm at night? F5. I could have bought 10 by now. Get to work!

I actually have it setup on Auto Refresh [with cache wipe] with a Audio alarm on any changes to check the page every 15 seconds.... It notified me yesterday when they removed the stupid little apple charger pack that came with it.

Or just do what i did and casually go to nvidia.com and order. Got my 2 without such ridiculous things as what you have mentioned. lol They were on the nvidia site for a week straight before they took them off. Anyone that wanted one or two had no excuses really.

Hey Guys.
checking back in again!
Have any of the Titans ever come into stock at EVGA? if so did anyone receive notifications for them? I have signed up for all cards on like 4 different email accounts and wanted to see if their notification system works properly Lol. I have yet to receive a single email from them to reflect any stock information. My theory is that their notification system sucks on big releases like these haha.
Thankfully i am not desperate right now as I got mine 2 weeks ago from newegg lol. Local pickup FTW.

Received mine directly from Nvidia yesterday (2 days after ordering). It overclocks way higher than an EVGA Superclocked factory settings, so I have no complaints about not buying the Superclocked version for once. In fact, according to the benchmarks, this thing is faster than my two 780 classified in SLI which are now up on ebay.

I also bought mine directly from NVIDIA.com product website and they are running on water cooling at 1500Mhz GPU/2000Mhz Memory with no problems. Just a FYI, There aren't any Stickers covering any mounting screws on the Titan X you get directly from NVIDIA.com, so it is easy to disassemble and install any type of aftermarket cooling products without voiding the Warranty.

Canadian retailers MemoryExpress and CanadaComputers had some SCs in stock and in stores yesterday, but I'm not sure if they're still available. Edit: Just checked, and CanadaComputers has them in their on-line store and in some stores. NCIX has a bucketload of the ASUS variant.

The lack of European stock is a little pathetic. It's been weeks since the Titan X was released and I haven't seen any available from any retailer or from EVGA itself and I've been looking since they were added to the stores (with pre-orders on the two main UK ones). Come on guys. It just drives away customers. You simply can't maintain customer loyalty while other brands have products available literally weeks before you do. I'm a pretty loyal EVGA customer and even I'm considering buying another brand instead of waiting another couple of weeks.

Got newegg email notification yesterday, unable to open email until 30min went by, it had a link to open my newegg shopping cart! but when that link took me there it said cart was empty because the item, the evga titan x, was out of stock. It was the real deal. If I had not been involved with a client I would have immediately opened the email upon hearing the alert tone and would have had myself one. Instead I went home and had an ice cream. My in queue order at B&HPhoto shows an April 20 date for earliest possible ship date for the EVGA version of this card. The many posts about the Nvidia card are currently of no import since now Nvidia itself shows this, if one tries to buy a Titan X: "We're sorry but GeForce GTX TITAN X is currently out of stock and cannot be added to your cart. We apologize for any inconvenience. Your shopping cart is currently empty." 4-2-15, 18:12. EVGA is still my wish, so the B&H option is best for me. Amazon shows an earliest possible shipping date sometime in May.

Hmm.. My Nvidia order page shows 2 orders. One for the card and one saying "order unsubmitted." I called them and they told me my order is in hold while they authorize it and it could take 72 hours. :/
I usually have pretty bad luck, so I'm sure this will get dragged out.

I wonder if the reason for the shortages is due to Nvidia selling them directly, which I don't think they've done in the past, thus sucking up cards that would otherwise go to partners like EVGA.

I just, as of this minute, ordered my Titan X SC from Newegg. Weird, I got the auto-notification like 4 hours ago, kept refreshing and just got lucky I guess. I used the "add to cart" right out of the email. Now that I search on their website manually I can't find it, uh oh. Nothing is certain until I get a tracking number.
