Very nice, seyumi! Now go destroy that Firestrike Hall of Fame. This is the best I can do with the air cooler.. And this is with my poor 4770K stuck at stock speeds. Gotta wait for that tax return before I can put her underwater along with the card. Run Valley at the Extreme HD preset and show me what you get! Is this with stock or added voltage ?

It's with stock voltage. I'm still trying to figure out how to get voltage control to work in Afterburner. Regardless of settings selected for it, it stays greyed out.

You need precision X for voltage control. If you're on air though then don't even bother since you'll just overheat.

Use PX for voltage control . I'm liking the latest PX16 5.3.3 version .

I managed to get Afterburner to work. Here's how.. Navigate to " C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Profiles" There's a .cfg file called VEN_10DE&DEV_BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH_.cfg. Open it with Notepad and add the following info to it: [Settings] VDDC_Generic_Detection = 1 Make sure Afterburner isn't running when doing this. Once you've added those two lines, just save and close it, open Afterburner and turn on voltage control. I've used Afterburner for so many years, I just can't use anything else.

seyumi It’s not pretty but it’s functional! I stopped caring how the inside of my case looked a few years ago when I realized I was spending more time building my computers than actually using them. No window on my case. I recommend everyone try to do the same. It’s like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
Totally this, as long as it works who gives a stuff? I used to take ages over the cabling but since a few years back I realised how crazy that was and just throw it all in, switch it on and get on with things. That said, fair play to those who still do, you've got far more patience than me.

I bought the EK block for the card. It supposedly comes with thermal pads, so I should be good.

Nice, TigerDirect had the SC in stock with no tax, no shipping, and no nonsense premium mark up (FU Newegg) last night for about an hour. A Sunday night too, which is beyond odd. Sometimes you just get lucky.

I think that NVIDIA GeForce TITAN serial of graphic cards deserve crown and medal for best Graphic cards ever designed. We had in past strong cards from ATI, NVIDIA, AMD but TITAN Serial is far best Graphic Hardware ever design. I don't think that as TITAN X is best graphic card ever because at this moment is strongest. Looking everything together they are best graphic card products. TITAN, TITAN Black, TITAN Z, TITAN X. And it's really bad because price is so high because I think every real NVIDIA fan should have one of TITANs. For 50 years when someone start to talk about past and graphic cards they will show picture of TITANs. They are so good that competition always need one year to present same performance as TITANs, or more. But if we talk about same performance with same power consumption that's much longer period than. And people who want to upgrade should not worry at all about performance of GTX980Ti... Even if she is faster 5-10% but I doubt in that... they will always have in signature NVIDIA TITAN, now that's TITAN X full GM200 12GB and we need to satisfied with something cheaper.

Even when AMD didn't so behind NVIDIA and In time when I bought almost every year their cards, in that time cards are not so expensive...even than for me was attractive NVIDIA logo, color combination green-yellow, their site, texts there, Demos, trailers, plans for future, etc... That help lot to NVIDIA get more fans and with domination in performance last 3-4 years they become much more popular than they even imagine... 75% of high end PC gaming is NVIDIA hands. I love NVIDIA, but fabric overlocked NVIDIA I love even more. And when I felt NVIDIA smooth gaming during 2010/2011 with Fermi with better picture for me was very important to choose some brand who make only NVIDIA cards, not same PCB, cooler, VRM for NVIDIA and Radeon and than even sometimes manufacturer use same cooler design for once on other chip and get much worse performance. I want some design exclusive for NVIDIA but not some III class China producers for Asian market.

Good example though of why the 6GB 980 Ti ain't gonna be enough for future 4k games that require heavier VRAM numbers. Even that damn Shadow of Mordor is chewing up 7GB at high settings.

It seems GTA:V is probably like other GTA's in the past where you could make it run on a laptop if you turn everything down and if you turn everything up it will burn even 2 heavily OC-ed X's in SLI. I probably don't need 8xMSAA and who knows how much GPU Nvidia's TSAA shadow thingie is burning. The estimator says it might take 9GB of VRAM, but as said above it's only about 5.1GB driving around.

I have only played GTA 5 for about an hour or so. Seems like nighttime tanks framerates a bit more, probably due to all the lighting going on... but it looks great. At night I was just getting about 40-50 FPS, which doesn't sound great... but isn't that noticeable in a game like this. I am running the game with all options maxed (minus FXAA, TXAA, and only 2x MSAA) at 4K. It says it'll use 9 GB in the settings... it only uses about 5 GB very surprisingly. During the day, I have been getting over 60 FPS, with it usually around 70-80. I was going to stick with my Acer 4K G-Sync, but it looks like crap compared to the BenQ 32" IPS in 4K. Colors are so real it's ridiculous. The game looks like a world right there in front of me. And V-Sync works surprisingly AMAZING in this game for some reason! I can't tell the difference between it and G-Sync using adaptive V-Sync or regular. But in every other game I own, the Acer is more playable for sure.
