I have another thread under general hardware about crashing <using phone don't know how to link>

Last night my pc shutoff and could not be turned on.

Today just before taking it apart to figure out what is up, I powered it again and saw a puff of smoke.

Took it all apart, could not see where it came from. With only a power supply, MB and graphics card (no cpu), powered it on again and watched closely as smoke billowed from inside the video card.

Yesterday afternoon, prior to final crash, i had already ordered a PS and Vid card as part of my troubleshooting process.

Does anyone know if EVGA will either replace or at least partial compensate for this new card.

The 980Ti is about a year and half old.

I haven't located the exact location of the smoke release chip as it would require disassembly of the card.

--------------------
just looked at warranty which is 3 years and it was purchased from newegg 10/23/15, so I've had it 2 years instead of 1.5.

Contact EVGA and start the warranty replacement process.

First, register the card, if you haven't already.

Then, proceed with the RMA process.

Your card will run the RMA system and be replaced after approval -- it will not impact your current purchase

all I have is a phone and your RMA page is impossible to use on a phone because it is not mobile compliant. just tried 6 times to submit and it still shows the wrong address after changing it....besides I can't fill out forms because the pages shifts to left hiding information I need to read. how the hell am i supposed to pull this off
