Impeccable timing from EVGA. I took my cards to a repair store and had them tested yesterday. They posted, but the PSU they had wasn't enough at 500w and could only allow one 8 pin. I am thankful to see the BIOS update right in time and also hear the news that it is working for the most part. Thank you EVGA for hitting us with an answer finally. :-)

ChrisB may not be available at this time, best thing to do would be to contact EVGA and ask them to send you the updated BIOS to your e-mail. US / Canada: 1.888.881.3842 Latin America: 1.714.528.4500 Europe: 49.89.189.049.11 Asia / Pacific: 886.2.82262868

The bios update i've just received. After using the exe file and the command prompt comes up then it starts updating. Is it normal for it to just disappear then? I was thinking a confirmation message or something. didnt take down the bios revision numbers before update, so can't tell if it worked. (currently 80.80.34.01.80 p2083-0030) ps- only just received the card today >.<

I'm actually lost. How do i change the voltage on the classified cards? I've used EVGA precision, msi afterburner and the GTX Classified Controler. Changing the voltages don't seem to do anything. Checking GPU-Z and the voltage monitor's it's still on 1.1875v EVGA precison/MSI Afterburner shows +75mV max and the gtx classified controller shows 1.5v max for NVVDD. but changing any of these values and the monitor still reports back 1.1875v

come over to the classified owner's club at overclock.net and it has everything you need. The voltage change will not show up in any software. A volt meter is the only way to see the changes. -strong island 1

No it doesn't. the new bios has a 1,21v voltage cap. which is the +75mv thing that precision X has. I did a complete computer reinstall and my bios now can go to 1,21V. The classified tools volting OVER 1,21V isn't visible on any program other than measuring the actual card.

I have the new bios, but setting to +75mv I still only see 1.1870v in gpu-z/afterburner/evga precision etc. The classified voltages simply cannot be read by software then? and +75 in afterburner/evgaprecision actually works?

I have seen many posts saying that you have to use a hard line method to see the voltage increase, as the software does not properly display actual readings.

You're saying the new bios as released can do 1.21v using Precision X slider to add +75mv? But the 1.21v can't be seen by GPU-Z or other software?

I am saying that anything over 1.21V wont be seen my GPU-Z and you need something to measure out the actual card for accurate readings(according to overclock forum) 1.21V is visible in precision as I have seen it after spamming the +75mv apply button. when it shows up it clocks my card higher it went from 1260isht to 1280mhz. Too bad precision X doesn't want to ****ing stick and the +75mv barely ever works for some reason.
