I had recently purchased the 1080 FTW in early February, I was just curious to know what is everybody's opinion/thoughts were on what EVGA will do with their Step-Up program in regards to FTW/SC and other 1080 Editions stepping up to the 1080ti?

I was able to step up my 1080 FTW that I bought 3 weeks ago to a 1080 TI Founders Edition, from what I understand rarely will they allow a custom card as a step up option, usually only stock vanilla cards.

Intel i9 9900K @ 5GHz
Corsair H110i AIO Liquid Cooler
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master
32GB (4x8GB) GSkill TridentZ RGB @ 3600MHz 16-19-19-39 1.35v
Samsung 960 Pro 1TB NVME SSD
eVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra 24GB
1000W Silverstone Strider Plus ST1000-P Power Supply
Phanteks Enthoo Primo Case w/ 7 x 140MM Fans
Acer Predator XB241YU Monitor 1440p 144Hz

So, how exactly did you already step up? I bought my card the second week of Feb. I called and asked a couple days ago, and they said I had to wait for EVGA to get 1080tis in stock.

I also recently purchased an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW (February 1) and am looking to step up, but don't see the step up option on the "my products" page. Did you have to contact customer service to initiate the process?

I logged into the site, clicked on member at top, clicked my products, found my card and clicked view details, then on that screen that came up a little ways down there was a button for start step up. If you didnt register your card in the first 14 days or something you dont get stepup unless you buy extended warranty.

Thanks Terry, that's where I was looking to submit my step up request. It's saying that my product isn't eligible for the step-up program.

I have a ticket in to customer service, so we will see what they have to say.

Your 1080 says it was purchased 1/29/16, which is impossible cuz it wasn't released yet, so the wrong year was added to the purchase date
