GALAX is reintroducing its “Serious Gaming” series with a new cooler design. This facelift brings a white color scheme applied to both the front and the back. The company is launching two and only two models, the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 SKUs, both previously announced with the same black cooler design.
 
Unsurprisingly, the specs are identical to SG “Black” SKUs, but what is worth noting is that the RTX 4090 and 4080 SKUs actually use the same cooler design. This means 7.4 cm thickness and 35.2 cm length so massive design indeed. In terms of clocks speeds, these cards support the so called “1-Click OC” setting which is available through the bundled software. This is official and supported factory overclocking that will not void the warranty.

The SG White series are not technically using triple-fan cooling design, but rather a quad-fan. The fourth fan can optionally be installed on the back of the card, and it is also painted in white.
 
The addition of a fourth fan is interesting.
