Founders edition EVGA GTX1080 will be 5.94" in height?

Hey guys, I'm building an x99 mITX build with the Ncase m1 and the CPU height is pretty important (My current 980Ti Classfied doesn't fit due to its height, at 5.94").
I was planning to do the EVGA Step-up program to the GTX1080 founders edition (aka reference model) as soon as it releases May 27th 2016, but I saw on the website the specs read 10.5" x 5.94":

The Nvidia specs are 10.5" x 4.376" for the gtx1080:

I was under the impression all the PCB boards were the same height/dimensions for the reference *cough* "Founders edition" models, but after emailing the EVGA rep, he told me they would be different sizes?:

Can anyone give some input? My build kinda won't work if I can't get my GPU inside my case, considering it's a gaming mITX build I'm doing, and I would prefer not to have the side panel off considering I'm spending $200+ on an aluminum Ncase m1...... :p

    Interesting. I was fairly certain all FE cards everywhere were 100% identical.
     
    It wouldn't be the 1st time that web page specs were wrong or CS is wrong.
     
    And nvidia did say that the FE would fit in a mitx case.

    Just to correct any previous statements or confusion, the card dimensions are 10.5" x 4.376", same as the Nvidia specs. The specs page should be updated to reflect this shortly.

    The FE card EVGA is selling is the same card nvidia is selling. PCB's made by EVGA include an EVGA stamp on the PCB. The FE has a nvidia stamp on the PCB.
