This was done about 9 years ago, but worth a revisit.   How did you derive your forum name and why did you choose your avatar?
 
I'll start.  Follow the format.  
 
 
Forum name:  Delirious
in 1993 I studied so much in school,  I often felt delirious and needed a break.  So I went up to the computer lab at the university to blow off some steam and got onto the early internet and found a program called Mirc where you could join a group and talk about things.  Like online chatting.    First word that came to mind was delirious because it was near final exam time and I was preparing for half a dozen exams.

Google Lewis Tardy.  He takes scraps of metal and puts them together into works of art.   It reminded me of what I do when I build a custom PC for myself.  I'm very mechanical minded and when I put PC parts together, I also look for aesthetics when I do a build.  kind of artful.   Being mechanically minded, I like the way he used scrap to make his sculptures.

Forum Name:  Without going into super great detail, I was granted the name "Scarlet" as a call sign for work.  Scarlet was taken, and I used "Scarlet_Tech" for a long time, but I found that many of the members here assumed that meant that I had something to do with the technical side of the forums here, so I requested to have it switched to "the_scarlet_one".  Scarlet derived from a few dates, where the ladies that I went on the dates with turned out that they were not single... so... yeah.
 
Forum Image 1: Green light.  This was my 980 K|ngp|n 4 way SLI system.  If it is green, I am online.
Forum Image 2: Red/Pink light.  Same system, 980 K|ngp|ns, but if it is red, I am offline.

I just made it up one day.

I'm a dragon ball fan. Gotta have my man Goku as an avatar, and only his most powerful state would suffice. 

Part a play on words with the acronym of identification and the abbreviation for number.

Came here as str1d3r back in 09-10 and lost passwords to these forums, email address I had back then so STR1D3R_2 was an obvious choice (didnt realize the caps were on) lol
Strider was a nickname my father gave me as a youngin as he would never know where I would wander off to. Through the years and close, age old  friends, the name resurfaced and stuck again. (also a fan of the lord of the rings)
The avatar  is an unedited pic of my cat, laying on the dashboard of my Dads van. His name is kato aka dashcat for 2 reasons. (he's quick on his feet). He just happened to be going into a yawn when I snapped that pick. Its a great memory of my Dad (r.i.p.)
