So far my 580, and one GPU on the 690 has a 7663 WU. The 580 is clocked at 928 MHz and is bouncing around 50-53k, the 690 at 1150 MHz seems to be around 75k. These new work units are using a lot of resources from the CPU, a lot more then I've previously seen.
I will either find a way, or make one. ٩(๏̯͡๏)۶

I was able to regain some of my loss in PPD for my SMP folding. I'm folding in VMbox and sometimes forget that since it looks so much like the v6 no non since console version. By changing the affinity's in task manager to 10 for vbox and setting 1 core for each GPU and adding the -smp 10 flag I was forgetting to shut down the vbox and lower the CPU count there to 10. Once I did that I regain a good bit of PPD. Still no were close to SMP folding only, but much better than it was. So if your smp folding in vbox don't forget to lower the cpu count in that software also.

I've download the latest project from Stamford, but my HFM is still not showing stats. however, I've had 3 complete and a 4th underway WU 7663, tpf 1:46, ppd 74,962 Nvidia 670 @ stock 1215 core, 6210 memory That may not be 7970 scores, but its a great improvement, now they are of course running out of these at regular intervals, lol

HFM does not know how to calculate the beta jobs i think . LOl watch out everyone.. when it goes public.. hondalife will be knocking on everyones door. with 26 gtx 680's he will be pumping around 2 million PPD on GPU alone.

I am not officially on the beta team don't have a sign up at FAH website either but i'll toss mint on my alt game box and give it a go this evening. Any suggestions on the drivers? is the Official driver recommended or the open linux driver?

if you doing linux you have to use proprietary NVidia drivers - not the open driver I posted the signup link earlier in this thread I'll do it again http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8 -take note of this By posting your request to join, you have indicated that you have accepted these conditions of membership. (In your request, please state that you understand and accept them. Please post your submission into the beta team in the link I posted (if you're interested)

OK i figured official but i wanted to be sure. For those unfamiliar with the process of installing official drivers, its much simpler then it used to be. You can check the forums on your choice of linux. I will post a mini-how to for mint/ubuntu later today if i don't get too busy at work if no one else beats me to it ;P. I'll apply to the beta team too but i will be brand new on the forums so they may not accept me.

just be an active member over there they normally don't allow new members on beta so you may have to wait I recall being in the signup for a few months before I got on thing to note . If you just joined Foldingforum and/or have very few posts, your request post should distinguish you as to why you would be a good addition to the Beta Team. Please note that if you don't plan to stick with it, we would prefer that you do not join. If this is your first visit to the foldingforum, you are not eligible for membership to the Beta Team.

So is this open for anyone to use now? If so how do I start folding these work units? I would love to see my GTX 680 folding for 80K PPD.
You need to set the Beta flag on your GPU client. As noted, if you are also running SMP, make sure you have at least one core open for the GPU. I had to drop mine from 8 threads to 6 and my PPD went up by ~10k PPD on the beta WU.

On my GTX690 (at stock speeds), I have just one of the two GPUs Folding right now with no CPU SMP Folding. A WU (7663) that can finish in 3.5hrs and deliver ~8500 in Points (or 57,991 PPD)...oh yeah that's a big improvement!!

you have to change the projects download address: edit>>preferences web settings tab project download url to : http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummaryC.html (add the "C") then re-update your list like normal. mine is working just fine on 3 machines remote and locally

1 titian vs 3 580 on the electric bill will pay for itself in a month(okay not really but close) if your folding 24/7.

the F@Hgpu tracker and the old HFM had the ability to upload an XML file reporting tracking info that could be viewed online. does the new f@hcontrol program have this ability? just curious cause i would like to be able to check in on my rig again, but i dont want to have to run HFM

I think between the new 4P's and the GPU QRB's it's looking good! I'm glad to see this! Now, I might just have to RMA my hot card if I can't re-TIM it and make it work cooler. Yeesh.

My 660Ti @ 1110 went from 25k on a 8070 to 54k on the 7663. Over 100% increase. Very nice indeed My 560Ti 926 went from 21.5K on a 8070 to 25.5k on the 7663, ~20% increase. Not too shabby. usage seems to bounce 1 or 2% a lot on the 660ti. Rock solid on the 560Ti. Changed the smp slot from smp 8 to smp 6 on a P7808 (which, admittedly is a crap unit to start with) and the ppd has barely changed. Currently 19600ppd, down from the average of 20070 according to HFM. <edit> I don't know why HFM shows 2 SMP units as failed, because it hasn't. It does that whenever I restart V7 when an SMP unit is running. Strangely, it does not do the same thing with GPU units .

Here my numbers.. It would appear the GTX 460 is taking a hit on the update w/ only 6K PPD. Can someone else confirm this issue? If this doesn't change, it going to effectively kill off folding on GTX 460 and below. Project ID: 7663 GTX 460@865MHz Avg. Time / Frame : 00:09:24 - 6,161 PPD GTX 580@895MHz Avg. Time / Frame : 00:02:19 - 50,359 PPD
My stock i7 920 is seeing 26-29% CPU load with 2x GTX 580 folding P7663s. Also is it really worth SMP folding if you have multi GPUs? I suspect the loss of SMP folding PPD is more than made up on the QRB GPU increase..

CPU usage with these core 17 WUs is pretty high from what I've previously seen. I hooked up my Titan to my 2500k+evga z68ftw and I'm seeing 25% usage, and also 134k PPD at 1005 MHz.
I even had to change the 3930k to SMP-9.
All in all, these new units are cool to see! It's a nice change from SMP power houses of old. Even contemptlatting a AMD card for folding now, though mixing it with my 2 Nvidia cards would probably cause some headaches.
I will either find a way, or make one. ٩(๏̯͡๏)۶
