I've got a CLC280 sitting on my Ryzen 7 1700x under a full cpu load 24/7 trying to find a cure for cancer  (Help cure cancer here: ).

Randomly, EVGA flow control will crash - typically I don't notice it till the LED on my EVGA CLC280 changes color, since I have it set to temp color for the fluid.
Last night it crashed again, my fans on my radiator turned off and I came in this morning to find my CPU Tdie at 87C!!! That is not the artificially inflated Tctl.  This afternoon my Tdie hit 89C.
  • EVGA FLow Control v2.0.4.0
  • Firmware version 2.10.0.0
  • Windows 10/64bit
What can I do to stop this from crashing?  There are no logs telling me why.  Got a beta I can test? Please help me keep from burning my computer up, don't make me fork over money on a cooler with better software.

Phil, I guarantee that it is properly installed.  Until the software crashes, I can keep a fully loaded CPU below 40C at full throttle, at mid throttle I can keep it around 60C.  It is the software.  In fact I just realized it has crashed again on me.  Darned unstable.

Do you have to have the software running for the fan profiles to run? Wow, if that is the case I am sticking with Corsair.

    Chrisdglong,
I don't think it is supposed to require the software to work - that is why mine is being RMA'd.  I'll post back here hopefully when the new one arrives and I get it set up.

I don't use any software for my Corsair H100iv2 liquid cooler.
