Hi. I've been unable to find a definitive answer. For testing purposes, would you be able to power on the 3090 TI KP with only one of the two 12vhwpr connectors? Or does the gpu require both to function. Thanks!

    I don't think you can do any valid testing if you don't use a product as intended.  I wouldn't do it. I don't think there is any point in even trying.
    At least it's a Kingpin version, so it's not going to fail by just looking at it.  Other models of EVGA 3090, I would say are likely to fail if you tried.

    found a KingPin interview video, where he says they are electrically isolated from each other  (look around 12:15 - 12:40) "Some sort of Nvidia design requirement, to get approval of dual power feeds"
     
     
    FYI my 3090Ti KP easily pulls 525 Watts under load

    Thank you so much for the reply. I've ordered two of the perf12 cables. My only evga powersupply is the 750p2, the rest are 1000+ seasonics. Will get an evga branded compliant psu.
