When I install the latest PX1 1.3.6.0 with the newest Nvidia driver 517.48, it immediately throttles back my RTX 3080 FTW Ultra 12gb to its lowest power setting, resulting in massive fps loss. If I uninstall PX1, everything goes back to normal.
 
I only use PX1 to get a bit more aggressive fan curves than the built in default. I don't use it for anything else, and so I haven't played around with any of the other settings. Is there maybe a setting in the PX1 that would stop this throttling back?

    Open VGA Panel tab, set power to a wanted % (100) and save.
    Setup box "Apply previous settings on load" must be checked. 
     
    Have same driver, PX1 revision, and EVGA 3070. Works just fine.

    Thanks Dragomirc, yeah, that was it. I guess I should be checking the power limit slider after every update.

    It's been reported and reproduced that driver updates while PX1 is running will cause power limit issues. It's best to make sure PX1 is closed during driver updates.

    No issues here, but I always make sure PX1 is not running when installing or updating graphics drivers, as ty_ger07 mentions.
