    Well as the 980ti puts down slightly better benchmark numbers than a 1070 I'd say no. Esp not for $240.

    I realize that you want more fps and power.  Have you considered the 3060?  Price is about $400 but it has power equivalent to the 1080.  Or go for a 2060...both would do more for you.  A used 1070 won't cut it for long

    Disregarding performance, I would for the sake of efficiency and reliability. The 980 Ti is a hardware failure just waiting to happen, in my opinion.

    I wouldn’t. I have two 980ti that still work fine
    Save the money and keep saving up for a better card sometime in the future

    Even if the 1070 was brand new I'd say no. But it certainly isn't worth paying that much for a used five year old card that could fail within a month, a year, or never.

    One thing that hasn't been mentioned is EVGA b-stock. If you can put a little more cash together there are some good deals there.

    You can easily get a 1080ti for 250ish cabbage but then again there will be many 3000 series GPUs at that price after the 4000 series are released this year. Please be patient
