FYI, my system would not POST with 1.10; resetting every few seconds.
Board: Z690 Classified
CPU: 12900KS
RAM: 4x32GB Crucial DDR5 module (XMP Profile 2)
GPU: EVGA 2080TI
Also have a 10GTek 2x10GB SFP+ NIC and a Startech 2x800 Firewire Card installed.
Box is rack mounted where I couldn't really pull these cards out to test with, but I could access the BIOS switch; switched bios switch to middle position and it POST fine on 1.03 that exists there; was able to locate through this forum version 1.09 as I'd stupidly deleted the files. Flipped BIOS switch over while running Windows and was able to flashed back. So far, no observed issues. I could not get it to flashback in BIOS using same/similar method, FWIW.
I noticed you're running 4 sticks of RAM in your system with XMP turned on. This could be causing your system instability. Whether you're using an EVGA, MSI or Asus motherboard, there is a really annoying limitation that all 12th gen Intel CPU's suffer from. And that is, if you're running 4 sticks of DDR5 RAM in your system, the CPU/motherboard will want to set your RAM speed to 4000mhz by default because that is what those CPU's are spec'd at when 4 sticks of RAM are in use. Overclocking them manually or via the XMP profile will cause instability.
Using just 2 sticks of RAM will allow you to use the advertised XMP clock speeds without stability issues.
Essentially, if you're using a Z690 motherboard and an Intel 12th gen CPU, its better to use 2x32GB sticks than it is to use 4x16GB sticks. Or 2x64GB sticks rather than 4x32GB sticks.
I know - its really annoying. You see 4 slots on the motherboard for 4 sticks of RAM and you wanna populate them because you paid for those slots. But the Z690 chipset and Intel 12th gen CPU's run far more stable with only 2 sticks in the system. That's why you don't see any 4-DIMM DDR5 kits on the market. DDR5 manufacturers know this.
Anyway... try setting your 4 sticks of DDR5 to 4000mhz and see if you can post with perfect stability.
