I remember buying "Bat out of Hell" back in the 70s...and my Grandmother being flabbergasted at the album name.
The songs were so good tho...if you don't have that album and you're a rock fan? A travesty!

Ditto !! on everything you stated to a T !!! RIP Meatloaf Edit, I remember when Rocky Horror Picture Show came out. One of my best friends family owned Moms restaurant in apple valley NY. I was there like it was my second home. The movie theater next door hired us as extra sweepers for duration that it played. We were only about 8 years old and got to keep whatever we found in the shin deep mess. fun times.

RIP Meatloaf Great voice and so much talent. Broadway, movies and records, so talented. I helped my dad install the original HVAC in those buildings working in the Summertime and weekends when in school. My dad and my two brother-in-laws and myself. Funny in the theater they would not let me back on the scaffold, my knees were shaking so bad the whole scaffold was swaying. Didn't like heights too much and down at the bottom by the screen it is way up there to the ceiling.
Life is too short to carry a cheap pocket knife
